してなる締め付け用部材をFEP管の先端へ螺入してい
くと、FEP管の先端部が該止水層を圧迫して止水層は
中心孔が圧力によって拡大し、そのままさらに締め付け
用部材を回転し続けると、止水層はFEP管の螺旋形状
に完全密着し、FEP管の螺旋の山の部分ではその上を
被覆し、谷の部分ではその中に嵌入された状態となり、
次いで先端に締め付け用部材を装着したFEP管の先端
部を支持体に穿設された配管用貫通孔に挿通し、該FE
P管先端部へ裏面に止水用パッキンあるいは止水層を接
着した幅広の平型フランジを有し管壁の外側にFEP管
の管体の螺旋形状に適合する凸部を突設した平型フラン
ジ付ベルマウスを螺入して更に締め付け用部材を締め付
けることにより、FEP管は配管用貫通孔に完全固定さ
れ、FEP管を配管用貫通孔に、接着剤を用いることな
く、然も優れた止水性を有する状態で固定することを特
徴とするFEP管の接続方法。
