2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an ATF in a torque converter has been used.
To replace the ATF, all ATFs must be
It was difficult to extract the oil all at once, so first extract only the waste oil in the torque converter (actually a part of the waste oil), then inject new oil based on the amount of oil removed, and set the engine to idle. In general, the operation of stirring and diluting the waste oil remaining in the torque converter and the injected new oil with the pump of the torque converter is repeated several times, and the waste oil in the torque converter is gradually diluted with the new oil. However, at this time, before starting the replacement work, if the total amount of new oil to be injected in a plurality of times is set in advance, the control unit will calculate the amount of new oil from the set value and the amount of waste oil withdrawn each time. It was determined whether to perform the replacement operation one time, and the subsequent work was automatically advanced.

According to the present invention, in an ATF exchanging device for alternately extracting waste oil and injecting new oil a plurality of times, the ATF capacity of the torque converter and the amount of extracted waste oil are set based on the ATF capacity.
The TF exchange rate is calculated each time, and it is determined from the obtained exchange rate whether to continue withdrawing waste oil and injecting new oil. Since there is no need to replace the ATF, the ATF replacement can be performed uniformly and accurately, not only can the labor of the operator be greatly reduced, but also the replacement work that can be fully understood by the owner of the car. By the way, at present, the method of replacing ATF from the gauge pipe of the torque converter includes a method in which the amount of waste oil extracted and the amount of new oil injected are the same each time in performing the replacement operation a plurality of times. There is a method of adding a predetermined amount to the amount of waste oil extracted at the first time, injecting the same as the first injection amount of new oil, and increasing the amount that can be extracted from the second time to minimize the number of replacements. The ATF capacity A of the torque converter, which has been confirmed in advance in a maintenance notebook, etc. (assumed to be the same as the total waste oil amount A in the torque converter before replacement), and the extraction amount B (In any of the above cases, in the actual replacement work, the withdrawal amount for each time varies somewhat, so the withdrawal amount for each time is represented by B 1 , B 2 , B 3 ,... Bn) and 2
From the two values, set the ATF capacity of the torque converter,
In other words, with respect to the amount of waste oil before replacement, it is calculated as the exchange rate how much waste oil without mixing new oil was extracted each time, regardless of the amount of new oil injected. It is represented.

Assuming that the ATF capacity of the torque converter set and input as defined above is A, and the amount of waste oil extracted at the first time is B 1 , the amount of waste oil extracted relative to the total amount A of waste oil originally contained in the torque converter ratio of B 1, i.e. the first exchange rate is a left side of equation 1, for convenience, previously temporarily replacing the left side of the equation to the right side of the equation.

Similarly to the first exchange rate, the second exchange rate is the ratio of the amount of waste oil without mixing new oil extracted up to the second time to the total waste oil amount A originally contained in the torque converter. Can be represented. Here, waste oil amount without contamination of new oil withdrawn until second time, the first sampling volume B 1 of waste oil, a value obtained by adding the mixed without waste of new oil pulled off the second time In addition, the amount of waste oil that was not mixed with new oil extracted in the second extraction was 1 in the second extraction B2.
Since it is a value obtained by multiplying the remaining rate of only the amount of waste oil that has not been extracted in the second extraction operation, the second exchange rate is the left side of Equation 2, and if it is replaced with the same equation as the right side of Equation 1, The right side.

Here, a description will be given assuming that X has not exceeded C yet, and the operation proceeds to the second replacement operation as it is. Here, new oil once injected into the torque converter and remains in the torque converter. It is necessary to allow time for the waste oil to be sufficiently stirred by the torque converter pump (the engine is still idling and the torque converter pump is also driven), and to be diluted.
Therefore, the control means 18 outputs the pause control signal and starts counting time with the timer.

Further, since the replacement rate is determined without providing an additional component such as a sensor for detecting the degree of contamination of the ATF, the frequency of failures can be reduced by that amount, and the rise in product price can be suppressed. More reliable products can be provided to users at low cost.
