[0002] One of the scallop cultivation methods is called an ear-suspension cultivation method, in which a small through-hole is drilled at an appropriate place in the shell of a scallop, and a rope (in this application, referred to as an ear-suspension string) is passed through the small through-hole. (In this application, referred to as a parent rope.) A method is widely used in which a large number of scallops are suspended and the parent rope is suspended in the sea and cultured.

[0003] Conventionally, this ear-hanging culture method involves drilling a small through-hole in an appropriate place of a scallop scallop shell (see Fig. 1) and passing an ear-hanging string such as tex through a parent rope. On the front side of the scallop through a small through-hole formed by piercing the scallop, its free end is tied as shown in FIG. 9 to prevent the scallop from falling off.

That is, in FIG. 9, H1 denotes a small through hole formed in a scallop H, 2 denotes an ear hanging string, and the ear hanging string 2 is provided with a knot 2X at a point passing through the small through hole H1. . And
By making the diameter of the knot 2X larger than the small through hole H1, the scallop H is prevented from falling off the ear suspension string 2. Conventionally, all of the operations such as drilling of the small through-hole H1 with these drills, insertion of the ear hanging string, formation of the knot, and the like have been performed manually.

However, since the above manual work is very complicated, automation has recently been proposed. The biggest problem in automation is that the retaining molding process using the knot 2X is not suitable for mechanization and cannot be unexpectedly realized.
Therefore, the conventional automation, that is, the mechanization is performed by using the knot 2X
Instead of the retaining method described above, a hot melt expansion method shown in FIG. 10 and a crush expansion method shown in FIG. 11 have been proposed.

[0006] In the heat melting and expanding method shown in FIG. 10, a thermoplastic resin is used for the ear suspending cord 2, and the tip of the ear suspending cord 2 through the small through hole H 1 of the scallop H is connected to a heater plate (not shown). To form a ball-shaped enlarged portion 2Y at the tip as shown in the figure.

In the crushing and expanding method shown in FIG. 11 described above, a large mechanical crushing force is applied to the tip of the ear suspension string 2 through the small through hole H1 of the scallop H, and the crushing and expanding section is performed. 2Z is provided.

[0008] However, in the above-mentioned hot-melt expansion method, when drilling a hole in a shell, the shell is hard and must be sprayed with water for lubrication. There has been a problem that the heater may be damaged or the heater may be cooled by lubricating water, so that heating cannot be performed uniformly. In order to solve this problem, the distance between the drill and the heater may be increased (the distance between the drill and the heater may be set apart so that lubricating water does not reach the heater).
However, when the next step is performed by moving the ear hanging string 2 for a long distance after passing through the ear hanging string 2, the apparatus becomes complicated, such that the apparatus holding the tip of the ear hanging string 2 also needs to be moved together. This was a problem.

It is also pointed out that scallop H is suitable for a low-temperature growth environment, and that the use of a heater may increase the mortality due to the effect of heating.

The crushing and expanding method shown in FIG. 11 is very efficient and is most easily mechanized. Since no heater is used, the scallop H is less adversely affected by temperature. Surprisingly, a problem has been pointed out that the cultivation efficiency of the scallop H is slightly reduced. Although the official measurement result is not clear, the one employing the crushed enlarged portion 2Z of FIG. 11 per year compared to the one employing the knot 2X of FIG. There is a report that growth is slow by about 30%.

Then, the crushed enlarged diameter portion 2 of the example shown in FIG.
It is presumed that the main reason that the cultivation method employing Z slows the growth of the scallop is that this method makes it difficult for the scallop H to open its shell. That is, in the crushing expansion method, since the diameter expansion rate of the crushing expansion portion 2Z as a stopper is limited, the difference between the diameter of the ear hanging string 2 and the diameter of the small through hole H1 cannot be set too large. That is, the diameter L1 of the ear hanging string 2 and the crushed enlarged diameter portion 2
If the maximum width L2 of Z and the diameter of the small through hole H1 are L3, then L
The condition of 1 <L3 <L2 is required. However, since the difference between the diameter L1 of the ear hanging string 2 and the maximum width L2 of the crushed enlarged diameter portion 2Z is small, the difference between L1 and L3 cannot be set large. Become.

Further, in order to reliably obtain the crushed enlarged diameter portion 2Z, a relatively hard ear suspension string 2 must be used.
It is described that the bendability of the ear hanging string 2 tends to be small, and the difficulty in bending of the ear hanging string 2 also hinders the opening and closing of the shell, thereby delaying the growth of the scallop.

The resin ear suspension string 2 is a synthetic resin material formed into a linear shape having a diameter of about 0.3 to 1.0 mm. Conventionally, a relatively flexible material such as tex (made of synthetic resin) is used, but in the present invention, a relatively elastic material such as gut or nylon resin having properties close to the gut when bent relatively hard. A material which is not easily bent and has a tendency to bend is used. That is, the resin ear suspension string 2 is not made by spinning a fiber into a yarn and knitting the yarn into a string, but by using a synthetic resin material having a solid linear shape having a predetermined diameter. I have.

That is, two ends of the resin ear suspension string 2 passed through the small through hole H1 of the scallop H are fixed at one place and one is fixed and the other is moved. A bent portion can be formed by moving both sides of the resin ear suspending cord 2 in different directions. However, the bent portion needs to have a size and a shape that cannot pass through the small through hole H1 as a retainer. It is not possible to exhibit the retaining function only by bending it at an obtuse angle, so if it is bent, it is necessary to change and bend it by changing a plurality of bending points and directions. In order to bend multiple times as described above, it is necessary to change the holding position, and if such movement is mechanized, it becomes complicated,
When two points are sandwiched, it is preferable to fix one and turn the other as described above, or to turn both in the opposite direction.

Further, the bending habit can be formed by embossing as another embodiment. That is, the embossing can be performed by sandwiching the resin ear suspending cord 2 between the male and female dies, and furthermore, by embedding it into a gear, a groove drum, or the like. Specifically, in order to form the zigzag bending habit preventing portions 21b, 21b of FIG.
It is sufficient to pass between a pair of rotating disk groups 12 and 12 as shown in FIG.
2 and 12 are passed inward from the front side in the figure in parallel with the rotation center axes), and the rotating disk groups 12 and 12 are substantially the same as the groove drum. Similar zigzag bending habit preventing portions 21b, 21b can be formed even when the tip of the resin ear hanging string 2 is inserted into a pair of gears which are loosely engaged with each other so as to bite. Further, in the case where the above-mentioned male type and female type are used, although not shown, it is possible to form bending habit preventing portions 21 of various shapes.

In particular, the use of an adhesive has a problem of chemical influence on the scallop H, and the heater also has an adverse effect on the scallop as described above. However, when these adhesives and heaters are used, long-term use is not possible. It is said that the scallop H falls off and the yield of cultivation is poor due to a decrease in adhesive strength and insufficient heat melting in the cultivation. It can provide a method.
