2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a method of monitoring a plurality of monitored control devices by a monitoring control device, there are a method of performing polling and a method of not performing polling. FIG. 2 shows a configuration example of a system without polling, and FIG. 3 shows an example of a configuration of a system with polling. FIG.
In the method in which polling is not performed, a transmission unit and a reception unit respectively corresponding to the plurality of monitored control devices 2 and 3 are provided in the monitoring control device 1 and the communication paths 5A, 5B and 6 are respectively provided.
A, 6B. This method has a problem that as the number of monitored control devices monitored by the monitoring control device increases, the configuration of the monitoring control device itself increases and the number of communication paths also increases. Also, due to restrictions on the device configuration, it is not possible to flexibly cope with the addition of a monitored control device.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 3, in the polling method, the monitoring and control apparatus 1 connects to a plurality of monitored and controlled apparatuses 2 and 3 via communication paths 5 and 6, respectively. 1 polls the monitored control devices 2 and 3. The monitored control devices 2 and 3 are the monitoring control device 1
, A response signal is transmitted when a control signal addressed to itself is received, and the monitoring control device 1 receives a response signal from a corresponding monitored control device. For this reason,
Even if the number of monitored control devices increases, there is no restriction on the hardware. For example, if the number of polling operations is increased on the monitoring control device side, there is an advantage that expansion of the monitored control devices can be flexibly handled.

If there is no response signal from one of the monitored control devices 2 and 3, it is determined that the transmission / reception section of the monitored control device having no response signal has a failure, and communication with one of the monitored control devices has failed. It turns out that the rescue was successfully remedied. If there is no response signal in both the monitored control devices 2 and 3, it is determined that the communication paths 5 and 6 are abnormal or all the transmission / reception units of the monitored control devices 2 and 3 are faulty. Further, when the monitored control device 2 cannot receive the control signal from the monitoring control device 1, the monitored control device 2 controls the switching unit 25 so as to connect the transmitting unit and the receiving unit of the transmitting / receiving unit 21 of the monitored device, and performs the self-diagnosis. To send a signal to perform. When the signal cannot be received, it is determined that the transmission / reception unit 21 has a failure. Therefore, the switching unit 23 is controlled to switch to the backup transmission / reception unit 22. If the communication has been successfully received, it is determined that there is an abnormality in the communication path 5 or that the transmission / reception unit of the monitoring control device 1 has a failure.

A monitoring and control device connected to a plurality of monitored and controlled devices via a wired or wireless communication path, wherein the monitoring and control device transmits and receives data necessary for monitoring and control in a time-division manner; A switching unit for switching the connection of the receiving unit of the own device to the transmitting unit of the monitored control device or the transmitting unit of the own device, a function of performing a self-diagnosis of the state of the transmitting / receiving unit of the own device by switching, and a result of the self-diagnosis A switching unit for switching the connection between the transmitting unit of the own device and the receiving unit of the monitored control device, and a monitoring control unit for monitoring and controlling the transmitting and receiving unit and the switching unit of the own device. A function of having an address number and communicating with the monitoring and control apparatus, a timer function of measuring a polling interval from the monitoring and control apparatus, and a transmitting section of the monitoring and control apparatus or a transmitting section of the own apparatus. Switching to switch to A function of self-diagnosing the state of the transmission / reception unit of the own device by switching, a switching unit for switching connection between the transmission unit of the own device and the reception unit of the monitoring control device based on the result of the self-diagnosis, A monitoring control unit that monitors and controls the transmission / reception unit and the switching unit; and a function that collects and controls the status of the own device. Further, the monitoring control device is configured to automatically control when a response signal from the monitored control device cannot be received. The switching section is controlled so as to connect the transmission section and the reception section of the apparatus, and the state of the transmission / reception section of the apparatus is self-diagnosed by transmitting / receiving a signal for performing the self-diagnosis, and the current transmission / reception section of the apparatus is used. If there is a failure, switch to the spare transmission / reception unit and send a control signal to switch the transmission / reception unit to the monitored control device that cannot receive a response signal unless the transmission / reception unit of the own device has a failure. Transceiver The monitored control device controls the switching unit so as to connect the transmitting unit and the receiving unit of the own device when the control signal from the monitoring control device cannot be received. By transmitting and receiving a signal for performing a diagnosis, the state of the transmitting and receiving unit of the own device is self-diagnosed, and if there is a failure in the working transmitting and receiving unit of the own device, switching to a spare transmitting and receiving unit is performed. Monitoring control method.
