連結して設けたので、回動機構を連結したガイド部材を
この回動機構により回動させ、回動させたガイド部材に
おける定着装置に対向する入口側端部を他方のガイド部
材に対して離反させることにより、カールが生じた記録
媒体を一対のガイド部材の間へスムーズに進入させるこ
とができると共に著しいカールが生じている記録媒体で
あってもガイド部材の端部に当接してジャムを発生する
ということを防止することができ、また、記録媒体の先
端部がガイド部材の間へ進入した後に回動機構によりガ
イド部材を回動させて一対のガイド部材を平行に対向さ
せることによりカール矯正を行うことができ、しかも、
ガイド部材の全体をカール矯正に利用できるためにガイ
