部と云う絞りが存在するため熱効率の改善難と副燃焼室
の熱的信頼性の懸念がある。また副燃焼室構造とするこ
とはエンジン全体の価格を押し上げると云う欠点があ
る。本発明の目的は前記欠点を解消し、直噴式エンジン
で着火の安定性とグロープラグの信頼性が確保できる大
形サイドインジェクション方式メタノールエンジンを提
供することにある。

て挿入されたグロープラグ対とを有してなることを特徴

燃料弁でシリンダカバーUに主燃焼室Aと連通して設け
られ円錐状クボミを有する噴霧ガイドG1,G2ととも
にエンジン中心ECに対して点対称に配置されている。

公害性を条件とする事業用発電プラントや大形舶用主機
として使用を可能にするものである。
