[Industrial applications]

The present invention relates to an applicator for easily applying a liquid such as a floor-maintaining agent (wax) or a stripping agent to difficult-to-work areas when maintaining the floor surface in office buildings and the like.

【0002】[0002]

[Prior art]

Conventionally, floor maintenance agents such as wax have been applied to protect the floor surface of office buildings and the like. The application of the floor-maintaining agent is usually performed at intervals of 2 to 3 months. To do this, first apply a release agent to the mop, remove the floor maintenance agent (wax) previously applied to the floor surface with a tool such as a scrubber, wipe it off with a mop, and then separately prepare a dedicated mop. After immersing the mop in a container for the floor maintenance agent and squeezing the floor maintenance agent in an appropriate amount (about 600 cc), apply the floor maintenance agent from a point 20 cm away from the corner of the floor surface. After that, it is performed by applying a grid pattern vertically and horizontally.

In this way, after the first application is completed, the second application operation is performed after confirming complete drying. After confirming the complete drying, the third coating operation is performed. At the last time, the corners are applied and the work is completed.

The above-mentioned work is performed by human power, and about 1 liter of the floor-maintaining agent is required per 100 m 2. However, the replenishment of the floor-maintaining agent to the mop during application is performed by adding the mop to the floor-maintaining agent container. It must be carried out by immersing it in water or by adding a proper amount of floor maintenance agent to the root of the mop tuft, so it is necessary to move the floor maintenance agent container according to the progress of the work, which is extremely troublesome and the work efficiency is high. Was supposed to inhibit. In addition, there is a problem that the level of replenishment of the floor maintenance agent varies from person to person, resulting in different finishes depending on the skill of the worker.

Therefore, the present applicant has previously devised a liquid applicator for floor polishing that solves the above problems. However, for the vertical plate of the stairs, under the desk, and other places where proper work is difficult, not only the conventional equipment but also the above-mentioned newly devised floor polishing liquid applicator is not suitable, and therefore it is necessary to directly touch it. It was desirable to have a device with a small turning effect that can be easily carried by being carried by the user.

A hose 6 made of a material such as vinyl is inserted inside the handle 1, and is connected to a rigid pipe 7 made of a material such as metal inside the handle 1. Further, the tip of the pipe 7 is drawn out from the lower end of the handle, the middle portion is bent into a substantially U shape to form a bent portion 4, and the horizontal portion 7'of the tip is made of a material such as urethane foam. The sponge material 11 thus constructed is inserted into an applicator body 9 having a structure in which both surfaces are sandwiched between polyester materials 10. The reference numeral 8 designates pores for supplying a liquid 19 such as a floor-maintaining agent to the applicator body 9 which is provided in plural tubes 7 in the applicator body 9, and the diameter thereof is within 1 mm. Reference numeral 5 is a protective tube that covers the outer surface of the tube 7 to protect it and is made of a material such as vinyl. 12 and 14 are washers for holding the horizontal portion 7'of the tube 7 and the coating body 9, and 13 is a nut for holding the coating body 9 by being screwed onto the tip of the horizontal portion 7'of the tube 7. On the other hand, a hose 6 is extended to the outside from the upper end of the handle 1, and the hose 6 is connected to a branch pipe 20 provided outside a portable liquid tank 15 described later. Further, in the portable liquid tank 15, 18 is a pump installed in the portable liquid tank 15, connected to the branch pipe 20 by a suction pipe 17 and a connecting pipe 23 provided in the tank 15, and a battery (Fig. (Not shown). Reference numeral 16 is a siphon pipe provided in the portable liquid tank 15 and is connected to the branch pipe 20 via a connecting pipe 26. Further, 21 and 22 are valves provided in the branch pipe 20, the valve 21 controls the flow of the floor maintenance agent 19 from the pump 18, and the valve 22 controls the flow of the floor maintenance agent 19 from the siphon pipe 16. Reference numeral 26 is a connecting pipe between the siphon pipe 18 and the branch pipe 20. Further, 24 is a switch for operating the pump 16 and 25 is a shoulder belt. Reference numeral 27 is a floor surface, 28 is a staircase, 29 is a step board of the staircase 28, and 30 is a vertical board.

In order to use the floor-polishing liquid applicator of the present invention, first, a floor-maintaining agent (a peeling agent when the floor-maintaining agent is peeled off, hereinafter simply referred to as a floor-maintaining agent) is placed in the portable liquid tank 15. Store an appropriate amount (for example, about 2 liters). Then, the portable liquid tank 15 is hung on the shoulder belt 25 to reach the work place, and the expansion / contraction part 2 of the handle 1 is expanded / contracted in the cavity 3 so that the entire length of the handle 1 is convenient for the work. Adjust to length. In this case, depending on the working place, the expansion and contraction function of the handle 1 may be omitted and the handle 1 may be integrally configured. Next, when the valve 21 and the valve 22 provided in the branch pipe 20 are opened, the operation switch 24 is turned on, and the pump 18 is operated, the floor maintenance agent 19 contained in the portable liquid tank 15 is sucked in. It is sucked from the pipe 17, flows into the siphon pipe 16 through the pump 18, the connecting pipe 23, the branch pipe 20 and the connecting pipe 26, fills the pipe 16, and also flows through the valve 22 into the hose 6.

As described above, when the floor maintenance agent 19 flows into the middle of the hose 6 (about 5 seconds after the start of operation of the pump), the operation switch 24 is turned off to operate the pump 18. After stopping and closing the valve 21 on the pump side of the branch pipe 20, the floor maintenance agent 19 in the portable liquid tank 15 is sucked from the siphon pipe 16 by the siphon action, and then connected to the hose 6 via the connecting pipe 26. The flow passes through the hose 6 in the handle 1 and the pipe 7 connected to the hose 6, reaches the applicator body 9 through the bent portion 4, and supplies the plurality of supply thin films provided in the horizontal portion 7 ′ of the pipe 7. It penetrates into the applicator body 9 through the holes 8, permeates the sponge material 11 and the polyester material 10, and permeates from the surface of the applicator body 9. After that, the floor maintenance agent 19 is continuously supplied to the coating body 9. At this time, the flow rate of the floor maintenance agent 19 flowing through the hose 6 can be controlled by adjusting the valve 22. In this way, the floor-maintaining agent 19 is evenly stored over the entire coating body 9. Therefore, the handle 1 is gripped and the applicator 9 is brought into contact with the floor surface 27 so that the floor maintenance agent 19 can be easily applied to the floor surface 27, the treads 29 of the stairs 28, the vertical plate 30 and other difficult-to-work places. can do.

At this time, in the present invention, the expansion / contraction part 2 provided on the handle 1 can be expanded / contracted in the cavity 3 to adjust the length of the handle 1 to a length convenient for the work. Since the person can carry out the work by directly gripping the handle 1, it is possible to handle the difficult work such as the floor 27 under the desk and the vertical plate 30 of the stairs 28 as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. However, the entire surface of the applicator body 9 can be brought into close contact with one another and the work can be carried out without any trouble. In addition, depending on the work location, the expandable portion 2 of the handle 1 may be omitted as described above, and the whole structure may be integrated.

Further, according to the present invention, since the applicator body 9 can be rotated around the tube 7 inserted through the center thereof, it is possible to use both sides of the applicator body 9, and thus the applicator body 9 can be applied. It is efficient because it can be used for a long time without the need to change the body 9 frequently.

Further, in the present invention, the applicator body 9 for applying the floor maintenance agent 19 to the floor surface has a structure in which both sides of a sponge material 11 made of a material such as urethane foam are sandwiched between polyester materials 10. Therefore, due to the elasticity of the sponge material 11, the cushion with the floor surface becomes good, and since the floor maintenance agent 19 is supplied and stored in the sponge material 11 during the work, the floor maintenance agent 19 is not exhausted during the work. Supplied to the surface. Further, since the contact surface with the floor surface is made of the polyester material 10, the floor maintenance agent 19 can be uniformly applied to the floor surface.

After the work is completed, the valve 22 of the branch pipe 20 provided outside the portable liquid tank 15 is closed to stop the supply of the floor maintenance agent 19, and the application body 9 is washed with fresh water to maintain the floor. The agent 19 is removed to prepare for the next work.

【0016】[0016]

[Effect of device]

As described above, since the operator can directly grasp the handle of the floor-polishing liquid applicator of the present invention, the floor surface under the desk, the step plate of the stairs, the vertical plate, and other work items can be used. Work can be performed without difficulty even in difficult places.

Further, since the floor maintenance agent can be carried and continuously supplied, it is not necessary to previously arrange the floor maintenance agent at the work site, and therefore the work efficiency can be improved. Wear.

Furthermore, since the entire structure is extremely simple, it can be manufactured and used at low cost, and its practical effects are extremely large.
