[Prior art]

Examples of conventional non-woven fabrics having an antibacterial and antifungal function containing soluble glass include, for example, silver, copper, or zinc ion-containing B 2 O 3 —SiO 2 —R 2 O-based materials described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 4-24258. There is one in which powder such as glass is mixed or added. In this type of non-woven fabric, the antibacterial and antifungal function has a wide range depending on the composition of the soluble glass and the method of selecting the range of the addition amount.

【0003】[0003]

[Problems to be solved by the device]

However, for such conventional non-woven fabrics having antibacterial and antifungal functions, general-purpose products intended to be used in a wide range of applications such as clothing interlining, filter sanitary materials, daily necessities, towels, sports equipment, etc. Since it was intended to be provided, there was a problem that it could not be said to be optimal as a pad to be laid on a bed mattress or a bed.

The present invention has been made in view of such conventional problems, and identifies the types of antibacterial / antifungal functional metal ions to be contained in the fibers of the nonwoven fabric and the powder of the soluble glass to determine the antibacterial / antibacterial activity. An object of the present invention is to provide a bed pad having a mold function, which is a novel pad pad that has not been solved in the past and has solved the above-mentioned problems.

[Means for Solving the Problems]

The invention according to claim 1 is a bed pad formed by forming a non-woven fabric of polypropylene fiber into a predetermined size and shape and sewn on the entire surface thereof, wherein the polypropylene fiber is a grain containing silver ions. It is characterized in that soluble glass having a diameter of 50 μm or less is kneaded in a ratio of 30% by weight or less. According to a second aspect of the present invention, in addition to the above-mentioned structure, a polypropylene fiber non-woven fabric is formed into a predetermined size and shape, and the entire surface thereof is reinforced and sewn. The polypropylene fiber is adhered with an adhesive, and a soluble glass containing silver ions and having a particle size of 50 μm or less is mixed with the adhesive. The invention according to claim 3 is characterized in that, in addition to the above configuration, a rim is provided on the outer periphery of the molded pad. In addition to the above configuration, the invention according to claim 4 is characterized in that a woven cloth is attached to the front and back surfaces of the molded pad. Further, in addition to the above-mentioned constitution, the invention according to claim 5 is such that, in the composition ratio of the soluble glass containing silver ions, P 2 O 5 is 49 to 51 mol%, MgO is 43 to 45 mol% and Al is Al. Ag 2 O was added to a soluble glass in which 2 O 3 was 5 to 7 mol%. It is characterized in that the composition is blended in an amount of 1 to 0.7% by weight.

In the present invention, the synthetic fibers that can be used as the constituent fibers of the non-woven fabric are limited to polypropylene fibers. If the pad is not made of hydrophobic fiber, the fiber absorbs water when it is washed, and it takes time to dry, and unnecessary elution of silver ions progresses during washing and drying, which deteriorates the antibacterial and antifungal action. There are drawbacks. Polyolefin fibers are representative of hydrophobic fibers, and polypropylene fibers and polyethylene fibers are representative of polyolefin fibers. However, the latter cannot be obtained with fine-fineness fibers, so it is limited to polypropylene fibers.

Organic solvent-based adhesive components (binders) such as urethane, acrylic, synthetic rubber latex, and melamine emulsion can be used as the fiber adhesive for making the nonwoven fabric.

In addition to the method of using the above-mentioned binder, a method of making a nonwoven fabric includes a method of melt-bonding a felt-like fiber web or a mechanical method of entwining fibers with each other by a needle punch method. .

Soluble glass containing silver ions used in the present invention is a generic term for glass whose composition is adjusted in consideration of physical and chemical characteristics of glass so as to exhibit a limited melting rate. Thus, a soluble glass containing silver ions can elute silver ions at a defined rate over an arbitrary period of hours to years. Then, the eluted silver ions are adsorbed on the cell walls of bacteria or microorganisms or condensed in the cell membrane to inhibit the growth of bacteria or microorganisms by a so-called oligodynamic action and exert an antibacterial function.

Generally, molds and bacteria propagate in high humidity, and molds and bacteria do not reproduce much in low humidity. In contrast, soluble glass elutes a large amount of its components when the temperature and humidity are high, and does not elute that component when the temperature and humidity are low, so it is in direct proportion to the growth of mold and bacteria. . That is, when bacteria and the like are easily propagated, a large amount of the antibacterial and antifungal component is eluted from the soluble glass, and conversely, when the bacteria and the like are not propagated so much, the antibacterial and antifungal component is hardly eluted from the soluble glass. ing.

The amount of the soluble glass added varies depending on the particle size, but when the particle size is 50 μm or less, the range is preferably 0.1 to 30% by weight based on the weight of the nonwoven fabric. In addition to silver, copper and zinc, as well as other metal compounds with antibacterial and antifungal functions, can be considered as the metal that releases ions as an antibacterial and antifungal component contained in the soluble glass. It is limited to those that release silver ions due to its antifungal properties.

When the elution amount of silver ions from the non-woven fabric constituting the bed pad obtained in the present invention is 10 ng / cm 2 / day or more in distilled water at 20 ° C., the propagation of bacteria and mold is caused by the oligodynamic action. Inhibition gave favorable results.

The components of the soluble glass that can be used in the present invention include network-forming oxides such as SiO 2 , B 2 O 3 and P 2 O 5 , or Na 2 O, K 2 O, Cao, MgO, BaO, In particular, those that consist of network-modifying oxides such as Al 2 O 3 , TiO 2 and ZnO, which dissolve the soluble glass little by little when they absorb moisture and elute silver ions contained in the glass composition, are especially preferred. Although it can be used without limitation, when the fusible glass having the composition according to claim 9 is used, it is particularly advantageous in terms of preventing yellowing of the bed pad and maintaining the antibacterial and antifungal action.

[Embodiment of device]

The bed pad 1 of the present invention comprises a nonwoven fabric 2 having an antibacterial and antifungal function satisfying the above-mentioned requirements, by a conventional method, in a single layer, and in some cases as a laminate, in the form of stab, quilted, or stabbed. The entire surface of the non-woven fabric is sewn in a sewn manner by sewing and reinforced, and further, piping 4 for preventing frayed edges, lock stitching, or edging such as bleeding is applied, and as shown in Figs. Obtained by finishing to size. Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the woven cloth 5 may be laminated on the front and back surfaces of the non-woven cloth 2.

As the non-woven fabric 2, the following two kinds of polypropylene fiber non-woven fabric containing silver ion-containing molten glass powder were used. Example 1 When polypropylene was melt-spun, the particle size of P was pulverized to 25 μm or less. 2 OFive 50 mol%, MgO 44 mol%, Al2 O3 6 mol%, Ag2 Antibacterial and antifungal soluble glass powder having a composition of 0.5% by weight of O was uniformly mixed with 1.5% by weight based on the weight of the polymer and melt-spun to obtain a fiber length of 30 mm and a fineness of 3 denier. Short fibers were obtained. This short fiber was dispersed in water using a paper making machine to make a paper. Furthermore, it heat-pressed with a calendar roll machine (at about 130 ° C) and then heat-treated at 150 ° C for 1 minute to give a basis weight of 30 to 35 g / m 2.2 The non-woven fabric was finished.

25 cm 2 of this non-woven fabric was cut out, immersed in 50 cc of water at a temperature of 20 ° C. for 24 hours, and the elution amount of silver ions was measured. The result was 40 ng / cm 2 / day. Further, this non-woven fabric was cut into a size of 9 cm 2 (3 cm × 3 cm), and the spore suspension of green mold was applied onto a normal broth agar medium and placed on the medium, followed by culturing at 24 ° C. for 4 weeks. Then, the length of the mold growth inhibition zone was measured, and the result was that no blue mold was found around 2 to 3 mm around the nonwoven fabric according to the present invention. The non-woven fabric did not yellow at all during these 4 weeks.

Example 2 A commercially available non-woven fabric obtained by heat-sealing polypropylene (unit weight: 300 g / m 2 ) was obtained. Soluble glass (P 2 O 5 65 mol%, CaO 15 mol%, Na 2 O 14 mol%, Al 2 O 3 6 mol% to the basic glass composition, glass with Ag 2 O 1.0 wt% added Was pulverized to 20 μm or less) was added to the acrylic aqueous emulsion so as to be 5% by weight / volume to prepare a suspension. In the bath of this liquid, the above-mentioned non-woven fabric was squeezed with a nip roller after putting, and after removing excess water, it was heat-bonded at 140 ° C. for 30 minutes to obtain a non-woven fabric having an antibacterial and antifungal function.

25 cm of this non-woven fabric2 The amount of silver elution after immersion in 20 ° C. water for 24 hours was measured. Soluble glass deposition amount 8.0g / m2 , Silver ion elution rate 700 ng / cm 2 The result was / day. Next, with respect to the inhibition of growth of green mold, after culturing on potato dextrose agar medium at 25 ° C. for 1 week, the inhibition zone of growth was observed. No blue mold was found around 5 mm around the nonwoven fabric. Furthermore, after this, after dipping this test subject in water for 1 day, we also observed that the deterioration of the blue mold growth inhibition function due to the elution of silver ions was found. As a result, a sufficient effect can be expected as a pad for a bed that absorbs a large amount of water with the foot.

[Effect of device]

According to the present invention, since the hydrophobic polypropylene fiber is used as the fiber material of the non-woven fabric which constitutes the bed pad, not only is it comfortable to contain sweat and the like, but also it can be dried quickly during washing, It is possible to suppress the useless elution of silver ions during washing, and since the composition of the soluble glass with antibacterial and antifungal function and its addition amount can be selected in a fairly wide range, it is possible to have a wide range of antibacterial and antifungal functions. Furthermore, since the component having an antibacterial and antifungal function is limited to a silver compound that is safe for the human body, it can be used as a bed pad without any problem in terms of safety and hygiene. The entire surface of the non-woven fabric is reinforced and sewn so that it does not easily fray or wear and can be used for a long time.

A glass powder having a melted glass containing silver ions was kneaded in polypropylene fiber in an amount of 30% by weight or less to give the fiber an excellent antibacterial and antifungal function, so that when it is attached to the outer surface, Compared to conventional antibacterial fibers, the risk of falling out can be eliminated, and the antibacterial and antifungal function can be exerted for a much longer period of time, and a stable effect can be maintained for a long period of time.

Further, the soluble glass exhibiting antibacterial and antifungal properties is composed mainly of phosphoric acid-based glass, which is mixed with magnesium oxide and aluminum oxide to be oxidized to release antibacterial and antifungal ions. Since silver is added, it is possible to prevent yellowing or discoloration when soluble glass of such composition is added to polypropylene resin, or due to external conditions after addition, etc. As a pad for use, it is possible to maintain stable antibacterial and antifungal effects without causing yellowing or discoloration for a long period of time.
