れ、互いに嵌合し得る形状を有する少なくとも一組のジ
ャック部(7a)及びプラグ部(6a)を配設してなる中心
部材(2a)に、その先端部近傍に該中心部材(2a)の雄
ねじ部(8a)に螺合し得る形状の雌ねじ部(11a)が形
成された概略筒状の固定部材(3a)を回転可能に取り付
け、当該コネクタ(1a)と同一構造の他のコネクタ(1
b)の中心部材(2b)に該固定部材(3a)を螺合するこ
とにより、それぞれのジャック部(7a,7b)と対応する
プラグ部(6a,6b)が接続・固定されるようにしたコネ
クタにおいて、 前記中心部材(2a)の先端部近傍の一部を、該中心部材
(2a)の先端部から基端部に向かって少なくとも前記雄
ねじ部(8a)よりも深く切除して、該中心部材(2a)の
軸心に対して互いに対称な位置に相対する形状の少なく
とも一組の凸部(4a)及び凹部(5a)を形成し、 前記中心部材(2a)の凸部(4a)に前記ジャック部(7
a)を配置し、凹部(5a)に前記プラグ部(6a)を配置
するとともに、 前記中心部材(2a)に形成される雄ねじ部(8a)の該中
心部材(2a)の軸方向の寸法を、該中心部材(2a)の凸
部(4a)の突出寸法の1/2未満とし、 該中心部材(2a)の凸部(4a)及び凹部(5a)と前記他
のコネクタ(1b)の凹部(5b)及び凸部(4b)を嵌合さ
せ、前記固定部材(3a)の雌ねじ部(11a)を該中心部
材(2a)の凸部(4a)に形成されている雄ねじ部(8a)
に至らない位置で、前記他のコネクタ(1b)の中心部材
(2b)の雄ねじ部(8b)に螺合するように構成したこと
