When the pressure in the storage container is substantially equal to the pressure in the sterilization container, or when the pressure in the sterilization container is slightly higher, there is no particular problem. If it becomes higher than the pressure in the sterilization container,
There is a risk that the reservoir swells and further explodes.

A technique is described in which the pressure in the sample container is determined from the temperature of the sample container, and the pressure in the sterilization container is controlled such that the pressure in the sample container is substantially equal to the pressure in the sterilization container.

However, if the temperature measurement is not performed correctly due to a poor insertion of the thermometer into the sample container, etc. Cannot be determined accurately, and a difference occurs between the pressure in the storage container having the same configuration as that of the sample container and the pressure in the sterilization container, which may cause the storage container to burst.

The storage container 2 having flexibility is accommodated in the sterilization container 3, and in a state where the sterilization container 3 is sealed, the temperature in the sterilization container 3 is increased by sending steam into the sterilization container 3. The liquid 1 in the container 2 is sterilized by heating.

In addition, the pressure in the sterilization container 3 is adjusted so as to keep the liquid level detected by the liquid level sensor 4 constant.

The pressure in the sterilization container 3 is adjusted by adjusting the amount of steam or compressed air to be sent into the sterilization container 3 by opening and closing the valve 5, as in the prior art described in the above publication.

る。(Operation) The method for heat sterilizing liquid stored in a flexible container according to the present invention is configured as described above, but the liquid level in the storage container 2 detected by the liquid level sensor 4 is determined. In order to make the pressure inside the sterilization container 3 constant, the pressure in the storage container 2 and the pressure in the sterilization container 3 are set to be substantially the same.
The storage container 2 can be prevented from being ruptured or deformed.

When the pressure becomes lower than the internal pressure, the storage container 2 is crushed and the liquid level tends to rise.
