(Prior art and its problems) Printing of various types of information on each label on continuous recording paper in which labels that have been die-cut into appropriate shapes from label base paper and are temporarily attached at predetermined intervals on a backing paper are successively attached. In the past, in many cases, a thermal printer was used, but recently, an electrostatic recording apparatus has been used.

The label is only a separation cut line and a gap (waste = unnecessary part)
For those of the type temporarily attached on the backing paper,
Labels that are die-cut from the label base paper and temporarily attached at predetermined intervals on the backing paper with unnecessary (scrap) portions removed, have rounded corners of the label, or have a circular or triangular shape. , Hexagons, flower shapes, etc. can be made optional, the ease of label peeling, and the difference in light transmittance between the laminated part of the label and the mount and the part of only the mount, special This is widely used because, for example, the portion of only the backing sheet can be used as a portion to be detected for the label pitch (interval between each label on the backing sheet) without marking.

As shown in FIG. 3, the continuous recording paper A in which the labels L die-cut from the label base paper are successively temporarily attached on the mount S at predetermined intervals, the portion of the mount S where the label L does not exist is generally used. It is exposed as a surface in a state where a release agent made of silicon is applied. Further, the thickness differs between the laminated portion of the label L and the mount S and the portion of the mount S alone.

As described above, when the continuous recording paper A is loaded into the conventional electrostatic recording apparatus and printing is performed, at the time when the continuous recording paper A passes through the fixing roll, only the mount S is coated with the release agent. When the fixing roller (heat roll) is moved up and down when switching from a layered portion of the label L and the backing sheet S to a portion including only the backing sheet S or vice versa, the fixing is performed. Slip occurs between the roll and the continuous recording paper.

As a result, the transfer amount of the continuous recording paper is smaller in the fixing roll portion than in the photosensitive drum portion, and the continuous recording paper is slackened before the fixing roll. If this phenomenon is accumulated in the case of continuous printing, for example, it may cause a trouble such as a paper jam.

(Object of the Invention) In view of the above-described drawbacks of the conventional apparatus, the present invention detects a slack of a continuous recording sheet in front of a fixing roll and detects the slack to eliminate the slack of the continuous recording sheet. It is an object to provide an electrostatic recording device for use.

(Summary of the Invention) The continuous recording paper A is called a fanfold paper as shown in FIG. 3, and is provided with holes P to be fed on both sides of the backing paper S, so that it is easy to cut out each unit. There are a type that is folded at the perforation M and a type that is a so-called roll type. Here, after printing different types of data continuously, a printed matter (label) of necessary data is printed in the middle. It is intended to be a fan-fold paper type which has advantages such as easy cutting and easy removal and no need for a winding mechanism.

Therefore, in order to initially load the leading end of the continuous recording paper to the position of the fixing roll, and to prevent the continuous recording paper from meandering from the photosensitive drum to the fixing roll, the transport speed is set to be equal to the rotational speed of the photosensitive drum. A recording paper transporting means which is set and which transports continuous recording paper while being disengaged from the feed hole P is disposed between the photosensitive drum and the fixing roll.

And, a motor for driving the fixing roll alone is provided,
A detecting means for detecting the slack of the continuous recording paper is disposed between the recording paper transporting means and the fixing roll, and the output of the detecting means for detecting the slack determines the rotational speed of the motor for driving the fixing roller to fix the slack. From the state where the rotation peripheral speed of the roll matches the rotation peripheral speed of the photosensitive drum, speed control is performed to increase the rotation speed more than that, and the transfer amount of the continuous recording paper per unit time by the fixing roll is increased. Thus, the slack of the continuous recording paper is eliminated.

Here, the continuous recording paper A is, as shown in FIG.
The label L is temporarily attached at a predetermined interval, and a portion of only the mount S is intermittently present, and the portion of the mount S alone is exposed as a release agent application surface and has a low coefficient of friction, Since the thickness of the laminated portion of the backing sheet S and the label L is different from that of the portion of the backing sheet S alone, when passing through the fixing roll 8, the fixing roll 8 (heat roll 8A) is moved up and down to be continuous with the fixing roll 8. (Effects of the Invention) The present invention relates to an electrostatic recording apparatus for label printing using a continuous recording paper in which labels that have been die-cut from a label base paper are temporarily attached to a backing paper at predetermined intervals, and are provided with a fixing roll. Even if the continuous recording paper becomes loose due to slippage, it is monitored and eliminated, so that troubles such as paper jams do not occur, and printed labels can be collected as desired without waste. It is very good in practical use.

Moreover, since the slack of the continuous recording paper is detected by the detecting means provided on the arm portion extending to the fixing roll side of the paper guide member movable in the width direction of the continuous recording paper, the width of the continuous recording paper changes. Even in such a case, since the position of the detecting means is determined at a position corresponding to the width of the continuous recording paper, looseness can be reliably detected.

Recording paper transport means for transporting the continuous recording paper by the sprocket wheel, and further moving at a speed corresponding to the rotation speed of the photosensitive drum that matches the rotation peripheral speed of the sprocket wheel; A paper guide member that can move in the width direction of the continuous recording paper integrally with the motor; a motor that drives a fixing roll alone; and a fixing roller that is disposed between the recording paper transport unit and the fixing roll, and fixes the paper guide member. Low Control means for detecting the slack of the continuous recording paper provided on the arm extending to the side of the printer, and controlling to increase the rotation speed of the motor by the output of the detecting means for detecting the slack of the continuous recording paper. An electrostatic recording apparatus for label printing, comprising: speed control means.
