In recent years, an automatic core processing apparatus for automatically performing core processing has been adopted. This automatic core processing device has a magnet fixed to the tip of an arm that can move vertically and horizontally, and moves the arm while leaving the rest of the core cutout line, and is already formed. The remaining portion of the cutout line is machined while fixing the core and the workpiece by attracting the magnet across the core cutout line.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in the wire electric discharge machine, the wire electrode traveling system is mounted on the machine main body, and the workpiece is fixed to a horizontally movable work mount. Further, since the automatic core processing device is attached to the machine main body, the magnet fixed to the automatic core processing device and the workpiece move relatively. Operate the automatic core processing device in a state where the rest of the cutout line of the core is left, and fix the core and the workpiece by attracting the magnet across the cutout line already formed. Then, the workpiece is moved in accordance with the progress of the wire electric discharge machining, and the remaining portion of the core cutting line is cut out. At this time, as the workpiece moves, the magnet slides while being attracted to the core and the workpiece. In this state, if the remaining portion of the cutout line becomes smaller, the strength of the connection between the workpiece and the core becomes weaker, the core is moved with the sliding motion of the magnet, and the wire electrode is cut between the core and the workpiece. In addition, the core and the wire electrode may generate electric discharge and damage the core.

Means for Solving the Problems According to the present invention, an arm that moves in relation to a processing area and a core recovery position is provided on a base that supports a guide head of a wire electrode, and is movable with respect to the arm. In a wire electric discharge machine in which a magnet is provided on the arm, the workpiece is subjected to wire electric discharge machining to a desired shape, and the remaining cutout line of the core is left. The core and the workpiece that are adjacent to each other are simultaneously attracted by the magnet, and the wire electrode and the workpiece are relatively held in a state where the core and the workpiece are attracted by the magnet. After moving, the remaining portion of the cutout line of the core is cut by wire electric discharge machining, and the relative position between the arm and the workpiece is returned to the position at the time of attracting the magnet, and then the core attracted to the magnet is removed. Inside the wire electric discharge machine It is a processing method.

[Operation] In the process of cutting out a core from a workpiece by wire electric discharge machining, cores adjacent to each other with a cutout line already formed as a boundary while leaving the remaining cutout line of the core. And a magnet suspended movably with respect to an arm across the workpiece, and in this state, the remaining portion of the cutout line formed in the workpiece is turned toward the wire electrode. After moving and cutting by a distance equal to the length, the core, the workpiece, and the magnet are returned to the position before cutting the rest of the cutout line in the same state, and then the core is magnetized. The arm is lifted by the arm while being sucked, and is completely removed from above the workpiece. At this time, since the workpiece is fixed to the work mounting table, it stays at that position apart from the magnet.

[Embodiment] An embodiment of a core processing apparatus and a processing method thereof of a wire electric discharge machine according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the vertical direction in the directions of arrows A1 and A2, and in the horizontal direction such as the directions of arrows A3 and A4 around the axis 0, a through hole 2 in the vertical direction is formed in the free end of the arm 1. A suspension rod 5 with a head 4 is loosely fitted into the through hole 2 with a gap 3 concentric with the hole, and the lower surface of the head 4
A downward concave curved surface 7 is formed over the entire periphery of the neck 6 from 4a, and a magnet 8 is provided at a lower portion of the suspension rod 5 through a fixture 8b. A suction surface 8a for simultaneously adsorbing the core 12 and the workpiece 10 adjacent to each other through the cutout line 11 is formed.
A hook 1a is formed around the periphery of the
8b, the head 4 and the hook 1a are always hooked by the elastic force of the coil spring 14 as shown in FIG. A space H in the height direction is kept between the lower surface 8a. In this state, the workpiece 10 is moved in the horizontal direction, for example, in the direction of arrow A10, and the workpiece 10 is cut by the wire electrode 15 to form a cut line 11 therethrough. Second
The figure shows a state in which the core 12 is gradually formed while forming the cutout line 11 in this way, and then the intended cutout portion 10a is about to be cut.

Immediately before the workpiece 10 is continuously moved in the direction of the arrow A10, the remaining portion Δ of about 0.5 mm
In the state where c remains, the movement of the workpiece 10 in the direction of arrow A10 is temporarily stopped, and the arm 1 is lowered in the direction of arrow A2 from the position of FIG. 1 to the position of FIG. The magnet 10 is attracted to the upper surface of the core 12 and the workpiece 10 which are adjacent to each other via the cutout line 11, and the head 4 of the suspension rod 5 is lifted up by the height h from the hook 1 a. This ensures magnet attraction. In this state, the workpiece 10 is moved in the direction of arrow A toward the wire electrode 15 by the same distance Δc as the remaining portion ΔC, and is completely cut as shown in FIGS.

Then, with the output from the numerical controller not shown,
With the core 12, workpiece 10 and magnet 8 as they are, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the remaining part .DELTA.
C is returned to the position before cutting, and the gap 3 is formed again between the suspension rod 5 and the through hole 2, and then the arm 1 is moved in the direction of arrow A1 as shown in FIGS. Ascending, first, the head 4 is hooked on the hook 1a, and then the workpiece 10
Is separated from the magnet, and the core 12 is lifted while being attracted to the magnet.

At this time, the lower surface 4a of the head 4 of the suspension rod 5 and the downward concave curved surface 7 formed around the neck 6 are pushed into the through hole 2 of the arm 1, so that the suspension rod 5 is inserted into the through hole 2. It is automatically centered and concentric.

In this way, when the core 12 is pulled upward, the core has a width S of the cutout line 11 between the core 10 and the workpiece 10 of about 0.3 m.
Since they are separated by about m to 0.5 mm, they can be pulled out smoothly without contacting the workpiece 10 and damaging that part.

Although the present invention has been described with reference to the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 10, the present invention is not limited to the embodiment, and changes and additions of partial configurations may be made within the scope of the present invention. It is also possible to go and implement. For example,
In the above-described embodiment, the downwardly curved surface 7 is formed around the lower surface 4a of the head 4 of the suspension rod 5 and the neck 6, but instead of the concavely curved surface, a downwardly truncated surface as shown in FIG. Conical surface

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the present invention attaches a core and a workpiece, which are adjacent to each other via an already formed cutout line, to an arm while leaving the rest of the cutout line of the core. At the same time, the magnet is suspended so as to be freely movable, and the remaining portion of the cutout line is cut by wire electric discharge machining in that state, so that there is no relative sliding friction between the workpiece and the magnet. In addition, the workpiece is not scratched by the friction.

Also, even when the core is slightly connected to the workpiece at the remaining portion of the cutout line, the core does not incline and hang down due to its own weight, so that the core and the wire electrode are in contact with each other. As a result, there is no risk of cutting the wire electrode.

Further, after moving the remaining portion of the cutout line toward the wire electrode by the length of the remaining portion and cutting the same, before cutting the remaining portion of the cutout line while keeping the core, the workpiece and the magnet as they are. After returning to the position, the core is lifted in a state of being attracted to the magnet, so that a space corresponding to the width of the cutout line can always be held between the core and the workpiece, and The core does not contact and damage this part.
