2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a resin buffer made of urethane foam or styrofoam has been used as a buffer for protecting a package which is extremely sensitive to shocks, vibrations, etc., and is stored in a packing box together with the package. The packaged articles are protected from vibrations, shocks, and the like during transportation and during transportation. These resin buffers are excellent in the strength against the stacking load during storage and in the buffering properties for absorbing and relaxing the shock or vibration during stacking or transportation, but have a concern about the adverse effect on the environment, etc. There are difficulties in the treatment, and in recent years there has been an increase in the tendency to protect the global environment, and it is difficult to recycle, etc., so that their use is being restricted.

In recent years, as an alternative to such a resin buffer, a so-called pulp mold made by reducing recycled waste paper into a predetermined shape by press molding or the like, or a corrugated cardboard or waste paper is used. There have been proposed shock absorbers having various structural forms, such as being wound in a multilayer or laminated shape and formed into an angle shape or a corner shape having an L-shaped or V-shaped cross section by press molding or the like. However, since pulp molds can be produced by press molding or the like, they can be produced relatively inexpensively when mass-produced, but they pose a problem in terms of cost when produced in small quantities. That is, there is a problem that productivity cannot be obtained in consideration of the cost required for manufacturing a mold and the like. On the other hand, a cushion made of corrugated cardboard, waste paper, or the like is relatively inexpensive even in small-quantity production, but can be stored and set in a predetermined length after press molding, for example, in a corner portion of a packing box for storing packing articles. When cutting to length,
Because it is made by compressing waste paper, paper dust is emitted. Since it is placed in the packaging box for the purpose of protecting the corners of the packaged goods, it takes time and effort to stick it in the packaging box that receives the corners of the packaged goods,
There was a problem in handling.

Therefore, as a buffer for solving the above-mentioned various problems, a paper board material such as corrugated cardboard is folded and attached in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, and has a recess for fitting a packaged article. In addition, there has been proposed a paper buffer having an inner / outer double wall structure having a buffer space for protecting a packaged article from impact, vibration, and the like on the peripheral wall portion thereof (for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. HEI 6-1994).

However, in this paper cushion, the buffer space formed in the peripheral wall of the fitting recess for fitting the whole surface including the four corners of the packaged article is formed all around. Since the communication structure is continuous, the cushioning space of the peripheral wall portion can exert its buffering function in lightly packed articles, but the cushioning space of the peripheral wall portion in the case of heavy loaded articles has the weight of the packaged article. There is a risk of crushing, and there is a limit on the weight of the packaged article. That is, there is a problem that the strength against the weight of the packaged article is inferior to that of the above-mentioned buffer made of resin, pulp mold, or buffer made of corrugated cardboard or waste paper. In order to increase the strength of the paper buffer against the weight of the packaged article, a reinforcing member made of corrugated cardboard or the like formed in a size adapted to the buffer space is provided inside the buffer space of the peripheral wall. Although it is conceivable that the buffer space is crushed by the weight of the packaged article, the reinforcing body must be processed and manufactured separately from the paper buffer body, so that it takes time and extra corrugated paper. Will be needed. In other words, labor is uneconomical. In addition, since it is necessary to incorporate the reinforcing member into the buffer space during the process of assembling the paper buffer, there is a possibility that a new problem that the workability of assembling the paper buffer becomes troublesome.

Further, an inner wall plate is connected to each side of a central plate for assembling the above-mentioned conventional paper buffer into a substantially rectangular parallelepiped through a fold line, and a side plate is connected to the inner wall plate through a fold line. A first blank having an intermediate plate connected to the side plate via a fold line, an intermediate plate around a central space having substantially the same shape as the central plate, and an outer wall provided on the intermediate plate through a fold line. Since the second blanks formed by connecting the plates are formed by stamping the respective paper board materials by pressing or the like, there is much waste of materials. In particular, in the case of the first blank shown in FIG. 4 of the publication, the inner wall plate, the side plate, and the intermediate plate are sequentially cut from each side of the center plate into a substantially cross shape.
Therefore, there is a lot of waste in the related art in which there is a die-cut residue having no use value around the first blank punched. This waste is the same in the second blank.

In addition, an outer wall plate, an upper edge plate, an inner wall plate, and a bottom portion of the central plate, which are provided continuously from two opposite sides of the central plate to constitute one peripheral wall of the fitting concave portion. A main body portion having a bottom wall plate and a bottom wall plate is formed from a single piece of paper plate material, while an outer wall plate, an upper edge plate, an inner wall plate and the same recess portion forming the other peripheral wall portion of the fitting concave portion are formed. The two side plate portions provided with the bottom wall plate forming the bottom portion of the center plate are cut out from one piece of paper board material, cut and separated, and the both side plate portions are attached to the opposite sides of the central plate, respectively. It is formed so that it can be connected continuously. According to such a technical means, the main body portion and the both-side plate portions can be stamped and formed from a single sheet of paper material according to their respective sizes and shapes. That is,
An outer wall plate, an upper edge plate, an inner wall plate, and a bottom wall that form a bottom portion of the concave portion by continuously connecting the two sides on one side including the center plate to form a peripheral wall portion on one side of the fitting concave portion. And an outer wall plate, an upper edge plate, an inner wall plate, and an outer wall plate which are adhered and connected to both sides on the other side of the central plate to form a peripheral wall portion on the other side of the fitting recess. The both side plate portions provided with the bottom wall plate forming the bottom portion of the concave portion have a substantially square shape with a small amount of useless irregularities around. Thus, by using a single sheet of paper made in accordance with the size and shape of each of the main body portion and the both side plate portions, it is possible to perform die-cutting without producing unnecessary die-cut residues.

Since the paper buffer of the present invention is constructed as described above, the following effects are obtained. . According to the first aspect, the resistance to the weight and the like of the packaged article in both the peripheral buffer space of the peripheral wall on one side of the fitting recess and the bottom buffer space of the bottom and the peripheral buffer space of the peripheral wall on the other side are provided. The same strength is achieved by the first support portion and the second support portion provided on the central plate, respectively. In addition, with the use of the first support portion, it is possible to simultaneously withstand the strength of both the buffer space around the peripheral wall on one side and the buffer space at the bottom of the bottom.
Further, the first supporting portion for ensuring the strength of both the surrounding buffer space and the bottom buffer space can be easily included in the surrounding buffer space and the bottom buffer space in a series of assembling work, and similarly, the fitting concave portion is provided. The second supporting portion for improving the strength of the surrounding buffer space of the peripheral wall portion on the other side can be easily included in a series of assembling work.

Therefore, according to the paper cushioning material of the present invention, not only the cushioning function for protecting the packaged articles from shocks and vibrations but also the strength against the weight of the packaged articles while providing the cushioning function is provided. It is excellent, and by having the bottom buffer space in addition to the surrounding buffer space, further improvement of the buffer function can be expected. In addition, since a reinforcing structure for increasing the strength can be assembled and formed in a series of assembling work and can be provided inside each of the surroundings and the bottom buffer space, the assembling can be performed easily and easily without using unnecessary labor as in the related art. It can be expected to improve workability. Furthermore, since it can be manufactured without using extra paper such as corrugated cardboard and minimizing the generation of die-cut debris as in the related art, it is advantageous in terms of cost.
