2. Description of the Related Art It is well known that a chemical treatment such as a waterproofing treatment is applied to the surface of a woven fabric and an antistatic treatment is applied to a back surface of the woven fabric to add functions such as waterproofness and antistaticity to the woven fabric. Generally, a woven fabric is composed of a warp and a weft, and although there are some exceptions, both of them intersect at a right angle and thus have excellent shape retention. Therefore, processing such as waterproofing and antistatic is easy, and many functionalities can be effectively added. On the other hand, since the knitted fabric (knit) is formed by continuous yarn loops, it is generally more porous than the woven fabric, has a larger amount of expansion and contraction, and has poor shape retention. Further, the knitted fabric has many restrictions such as a knitting structure and a composition density (measure), and it is difficult to add a waterproof function and an anti-static function. For this reason, conventionally, waterproof processing or antistatic processing has been performed on the yarn, and knitting of these processed yarns has produced a knitted product having a single function such as waterproofness or antistatic property.

[0006] In order to knit a knitted fabric as described above, it is necessary to perform a knitting by plating. For this reason, the structure of the knitted fabric is limited to a flat knit and a rubber knit which can be plated.
Therefore, knitting machines are also limited to the above-mentioned knitting machines capable of flat knitting and rubber knitting. For example, flat knitting machines (flat knitting machines, circular knitting machines, household knitting machines), full-fashion knitting machines and the like are used. Can be

In knitting of a knitted fabric, it is important to use an appropriate yarn count for the gauge of the knitted fabric, or to select a gauge suitable for the yarn count of the knitted fabric, which affects the finished knitted product. The applicant selects a gauge suitable for the gauge within the range of 5 to 16 gauge used for actually making a product of the knitted fabric gauge, and furthermore, waterproofing the thread. The knitted fabric is knitted by using the above-described structure and knitting machine. The voltage was measured.

In order to indicate that a waterproof or antistatic treatment has been added to a knitted product, it is generally necessary in the industry that the criterion be that the degree of waterproofing be 70 or more and the charging voltage be 2000 V or less. All of the knitted fabrics shown in Examples 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 obtained the results satisfying the above reference values. That is, the ratio of the waterproof yarn to the knitting yarn composed of the waterproof yarn and the antistatic yarn is 50 to 7%.
The knitted fabric knitted with a practical gauge of 5 to 16 using the above-mentioned organization and knitting machine has a waterproofness of 70 or more,
It became clear that a function with a charged voltage of 2000 V or less was added. However, as is clear from Example 6, when the ratio of the knitting yarn occupied by the waterproofing yarn is set to 80%, the waterproofing degree becomes 70 and the charging voltage becomes 2,000 or more, so that the determination standard is not satisfied. Thus, if the practical gauge is made smaller, the stitch becomes coarser.
If knitting is performed, both the degree of waterproofness and the charged voltage do not satisfy the criteria. Also, in knitting with a large practical gauge (dense stitches), the knitting ratio is generally about 50% or 50%. It is not practical to use for large knitting. Judging comprehensively from the above, practically, it is preferable to knit with a practical gauge of 5 or more using a waterproof knitting yarn of 50 to 75%.
