2. Description of the Related Art In general, the longer the wood, the higher its value, and the same applies to artificial wood decorative materials. However, artificial wood-based decorative materials are also easily produced in a certain size in terms of productivity, and if a longer request is required, it is necessary to add them in the longitudinal direction (the fiber axis direction).

[0003] In such a case, in the case of natural wood, there is a case where the sliced veneer is added and cheated, but this has a problem that the value is significantly reduced. In this regard, artificial wood decorative materials are obtained by laminating and bonding a number of material veneers to form a flitch and slicing the flitch, so lowering the value by connecting thin wood veneer that becomes the material veneer A long artificial wood-based decorative material can be obtained without the need.

Conventionally, there are the following methods (1) and (2) for joining thin wooden veneers. (1) Cut the end face of the wooden veneer vertically with a cutter such as a cutter, and join the cut edges by taping. (2) Using a device called a scarf jointer (a device in which the ends of the wooden veneer 1 are scraped off with a knife 2 and bonded with an adhesive as shown in FIG. 6), the ends of the wooden veneer 1 are joined together. Make a scarf joint.

The conventional example has a problem that scarf gradient is hardly obtained with a thin wooden veneer, which is generally used for thick plywood, and that the cut-off surface is rough, unstable and difficult to adhere. For these reasons, a unique scarf joint method is desired.

In order to achieve the above object, a method for producing a veneer material for an artificial wood decorative material according to the present invention uses a thin wooden veneer 1 having a thickness of 0.5 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less. In the method of manufacturing the veneer veneer 3 by connecting the ends of the veneer veneer 1 with a scarf joint, the slopes of the inclined surfaces 4a and 4b of the ends to be scarf-joined are reduced by 1 /.
The gradient surfaces 4a and 4b are formed by sanding, and the gradient surfaces 4a and 4b are bonded to each other with an adhesive.

The wood veneer 1 is obtained by rotary slicing wood and has a thickness of 0.5 to 2.0 m.
m. The wooden veneer 1 is appropriately colored tones by dyeing or the like. This wood veneer 1 is connected to a plurality of wood veneers by a scarf joint at the ends.
One of the wooden veneers 1 has an upper joint 5a at one end and a lower joint 5b at the other end. Slant surfaces 4a and 4b are formed in the joint portions 5a and 5b by sanding, respectively. The slopes 4a, 4
The gradient of b (y / x in FIG. 1) is 1/5 to 1/30.
The number of sanders for sanding the inclined surfaces 4a and 4b is 2
Use the one under 40th. FIG. 3 shows a state in which sanding is performed.
And the slopes 4a, 4b at the same time
To process. When machining the inclined surfaces 4a and 4b, the thickness .DELTA.t of the tips of the joint portions 5a and 5b is set so as to be 0.3 mm or less. After processing the slopes 4a, 4b, an adhesive is applied to the slopes 4a, 4b, and the slopes 4a, 4b are processed.
4b are joined together and bonded by pressing. Any adhesive can be used as the bonding adhesive, but general vinyl acetate is sufficient. The press for bonding may be a cold press or a hot press, but it is preferable to attach a cushion rubber or the like to the cold press and press. FIG.
Are pressed and the upper press plate 7a and the lower press plate 7
b. A cushion rubber 8 is attached to each of them, and a bonding press is performed. In this way, the wooden veneer 1 is joined and the material veneer 3
Can be obtained. At this time, a large gradient can be obtained to form the gradient surfaces 4a and 4b by sanding (1/5).
1 / 1/30), easy to attach and strong, with less noticeable color difference between spliced wood veneers 1. Furthermore, the slopes 4a and 4b finished by the sanding process are uniformly used by the adhesive, and are effective in terms of work. In producing an artificial wood decorative material from such a veneer veneer 3, the following is performed. An adhesive such as a urethane adhesive is applied to the material veneer 3 and a plurality of material veneers 3 are laminated as shown in FIG.
The flitch 9 is formed by compression molding, and the flitch 9 is sliced at a predetermined lumber angle θ to obtain a thin artificial wood decorative material. In FIG. 5, the line indicated by the symbol a is the surface to be sliced.

According to the above construction, the scarf joint can be easily formed, the adhesive strength can be strengthened, and the color difference can be made inconspicuous by forming the large slope surfaces 4a and 4b by sanding and joining the scarf joint. Furthermore, the familiarity of the adhesive can be improved. For this reason, it is possible to easily and surely connect, and it is possible to obtain a single veneer material 3 that is neatly connected, and it is possible to obtain a high-quality artificial wood decorative material using the single veneer material 3.

(Example of the present invention) Agate wood is used as the wood veneer 1.
A single plate rotary sliced to a thickness of 14 mm is 100
I prepared it. The size of the wooden veneer 1 is 550 mm in width and 4000 mm in length. The wood veneer 1 was oxidized and decolorized, and further toned with an acidic paint. In order to obtain a material veneer 3 having a length of 5000 mm from the wooden veneer 1, 20 wooden veneers 1 in the above 100 wooden veneers 1 are 1000 mm in length.
Into four equal parts. Next, a slope surface 4a, 4b having a slope of 1/15 to 1/20 at the end of the wooden veneer 1 with a # 80 sander.
Was processed. Then, a vinyl acetate adhesive CH20 (manufactured by Konishi) is applied to one of the inclined surfaces 4a and 4b, excess adhesive is removed with a stainless spatula, the inclined surfaces 4a and 4b are overlapped with each other, and immediately cold-pressed to a length of 5000 mm. A raw material veneer 3 was formed. The pressing conditions at this time were a pressing pressure of 5 kg / cm 2 , a pressing time of 60 seconds, neoprene rubber of 3 mm was mounted on upper and lower press plates 7 a and 7 b as cushions, and a release sheet was mounted on the rubber surface. . A urethane adhesive is applied to the 5000 mm long single veneer 3 thus obtained, and 80 sheets are laminated, pressed and formed to form a flitch 9, and the flitch 9 is formed at a sawing angle θ of 60 °. And it sliced so that thickness might be set to 0.6 mm, and obtained the artificial wood-based decorative material.

(Comparative Example 1) As described in (1) of the conventional example, the artificial wood-based makeup is performed in the same manner as in the embodiment of the present invention except that the cut edges cut with a cutter are joined together and the wooden veneer 1 is connected. Wood was obtained. (Comparative Example 2) An artificial wood decorative material was obtained in the same manner as in the example of the present invention except that the wooden veneers 1 were connected to each other using the scarf jointer as described in (2) of the conventional example.
