張ることにより運動するようにした細長部材運動機に関
するもので、例えば綱引やボートを漕ぐような運動がで
きたり、或は必要に応じエキスパンダーを操作するよう

可能な摩擦力を発生させて初期張力を与える部分が設け
てあることを特徴とする細長部材運動機を提供するもの

細長部材16が本体18内へ入つてくる側でこの初期張力を
調節することにより細長部材16と装架部22間の摩擦力で
ある抵抗力すなわち引張力を調節することができる。こ
の引張力は初期張力に対し細長部材16が装架部22に装架
された合計角について指数関数的に大きくなるものであ
る。すなわち、初期張力F0、細長部材16が各装架部22と
接触する範囲の合計角度を弧度法でθ、細長部材16と各
装架部22間の摩擦係数をμとして表わした場合引張力F

綱引をするような運動であり、引張力はほぼ一定なもの
である。また、使用者は左右の手で交互に細長部材16の
一方側を握りながら連続的に引つ張り出すような運動を
することもできる。また、細長部材16は両側で交互に引
つ張り出すように往復運動をすることもできる。また、

て摩擦力に基づく初期張力を与える部分が設けてあるこ
