To maintain the conductive paint sent from the paint tank to the relay tank through the paint supply pipe,
Paint replenishing means which sprays from above toward the surface of the conductive paint stored in the relay tank and supplies it in a finely divided state (see JP-A-55-13129 and JP-A-56-141869).
And a paint replenishing means for supplying the liquid by dropping it naturally from above (see JP-B-56-3108 and JP-B-57-29224).
Alternatively, a paint replenishing means (Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-3042) in which two relay tanks are provided and the conductive paint is alternately supplied to each tank.

A required amount of conductive paint is supplied to each of the relay tanks maintained in an electrically insulated state, and the conductive paint of a desired color selected by the color changing valve device is applied to each of the relay tanks by applying a high voltage. In the electrostatic coating equipment of the conductive paint that is made to be supplied to the electropainting machine, the application of the high voltage to the electrostatic painting machine is stopped. Within the color change time until the start, the required amount of conductive paint is supplied from the paint tank through the paint supply pipe to the relay tank in which the paint storage amount has been reduced, and the conductive paint is stored in the relay tank. And a paint supply means for dropping the conductive paint in a liquid column shape toward the liquid surface.

It can prevent the conductive paint from bubbling and blemishes in the interior, and at the same time, change the required amount of conductive paint to be stored in the relay tank from the end of painting the previous color paint to the start of painting the next color paint. The replenishment can be carried out sufficiently in time, and the equipment constituting the replenishing means does not become large.
