BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a strip for forming a pipe lining, and more particularly, to a pipe liner which is spirally wound to form a pipe liner. The present invention relates to a strip (hereinafter, referred to as a "strip") that is applied to a structure of a tube lining that forms a gap.

[0002] One type of pipe lining construction is to use a strip of this type, apply a liner to the pipe in a state where the spacer on the back of the strip is in contact with the inner surface of the pipe under the above-mentioned specifications, that is, in close contact with the pipe. The backing material such as grout is injected into the voids to fix the liner.

2. Description of the Related Art In a conventional strip used for pipe lining work of this type, a spacer for forming a backfill space extends continuously in the strip length direction and is arranged in parallel in the strip width direction. This is a configuration including a rib formed on the back surface. In this configuration, when the strip is spirally wound within the tube to form a liner, the ribs will be interposed between the tube and the liner in the form of a multi-thread thread. According to this, in the gap formed by the interposition of the rib on the back of the liner, since the gap spirals in the length direction of the liner, it cannot be backed at once over a long span, Also, the backfill material cannot be spread because the gap is divided in parallel with the ribs.

[0004] For such a reason, a method of hitherto has been adopted in which a hole is formed at a pitch of 1 to 3 m at an upper portion of a liner formed by spirally winding a strip, and a backfill material is injected through the hole. According to this, it is very inefficient.

Further, depending on the condition of damage to the existing pipe, the backfill must be thickened to improve the strength, but the conventional one cannot cope with this. That is, if the ribs on the rear surface of the strip are raised in order to cope with such a situation, the bending rigidity of the strip itself becomes too strong, and helical winding in the pipe becomes impossible or extremely difficult.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a strip of the type mentioned at the beginning, which is simply wound spirally and a liner is tightly adhered to a pipe, thereby making it possible to easily inject a backfill material. Possible voids can be formed in the back of the liner and can successfully meet the demand for increased backfill thickness.

[0007] The contact-bonding method does not require the use of a separate liner centering device or equipment for floating the strip required on the inner surface of the pipe in the floating-bonding method, and is simpler than the floating-bonding method.

According to the present invention, a first element S1 formed by a rib 2 extending in the length direction on the back surface of the strip 1 as a back-filling space forming spacer S of the strip 1, and a protruding portion provided on the back of the rib. The second element S2 is provided with a projection 3 which is formed or connected to the rib 2 and protrudes higher than the rib 2 and has a void 4 entirely. This configuration does not yield the following results.

When the liner L is formed on the tube P by the helical winding of the strip 1, the backfill gap C created by the interposition of the spacer S of the strip 1 between the tube P and the liner L causes the backfill gap C of the second element S2. The whole space is communicated by the space 4. That is, the spirally winding of the strip 1 and the application of the liner L to the tube P in a tightly adhered manner form a back-up passage of a full-area communication type on the back surface of the liner L. For this reason, a hose can be directly injected from the end face of the gap C, or a hose can be inserted into the gap C, through which the backfill material can be easily injected over the entire back surface of the liner.

By providing the rear ribs at a relatively small interval, the outer diameter of the liner L is restricted by the pipe P, and the liner L can withstand the same back-filling pressure as that of the close bonding.

The projection 3 projecting from the back of the rib 2 or being connected to the rib 2 and projecting higher than the rib 2 has a void 4 in the entire area. The addition of the element S2 does not significantly increase the bending stiffness of the strip 1. Therefore, when it is necessary to increase the backfill for improving the strength, the height of the protruding piece 3 can cope with this without making the strip 1 having excessive bending rigidity.

In the case where the second element S2 is detachable, the cross-sectional width of the backfill gap C, that is, the backfill thickness can be easily changed by replacing the element S2 with a different height. This means that the formation of the backfill void C having a variable thickness can be embodied by a close bonding method.

As is apparent from the above description, the present invention relates to a strip of the type described at the outset, in which the strip is spirally wound and the liner is adhered to the tube in a tightly adhered manner. A void capable of simple injection can be formed on the back surface of the liner, and the effect of being able to successfully cope with a demand for an increase in backfill thickness is achieved.
