潰したり、該シートが原因でジャムを生じたりすること

部材、及び重送防止部材により重送防止部を構成する重
送防止部と、 前記重送防止部の近傍に位置するシートをシート収容部
に戻すための前記重送防止部の下流側から上流側にわた
って移動自在に設けたシート戻し部材と、 所定のシート戻し信号により前記シート戻し部材をシー
ト戻し方向に移動させる第1シート戻し手段と、 所定のシート戻し信号により、前記第1及び第2回転給
紙部材を用紙搬送方向とは逆方向に回転駆動させる第2
シート戻し手段とからなる画像形成装置の給紙装置にお
いて、 前記重送防止部材が、往復回動自在な往復回動軸と該往
復回動軸に一方向伝達手段を介して設けられた反給紙方
向にのみ回動自在なパッドローラからなり、且つ前記往
復回動軸に前記シート戻し部材を設けてあることを特徴
