SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a sheet-like object holding apparatus which can easily attach and detach a sheet-like object and can hold the sheet-like object with a uniform force over the entire width.

According to the present invention, there is provided a holding device for holding an upper side and a lower side of a sheet-like material over an entire area in a width direction, wherein at least one of the holding devices holds a sheet-like material. A receiving portion, a holding-side sheet receiving portion, at least one bearing ring provided on each of the table-side sheet receiving portion and the holding-side sheet receiving portion, and a concave portion provided in an axial direction through which the bearing ring is inserted. A holding device for holding an upper side and a lower side of a sheet material over an entire area in a width direction, wherein at least one of the holding devices includes a table-side sheet receiving portion for holding the sheet material and a holding-side sheet receiving portion. And at least one bearing ring provided in each of the table-side sheet receiving portion and the holding-side sheet receiving portion, and a recessed portion in an axial direction through which the bearing ring is fitted, and driven means mounted on both ends.
