Description: FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a card having a magnetic recording layer, and more particularly to an information recording device for effectively preventing forgery and enabling easy identification. It's about cards. (Prior Art) In recent years, there has been a remarkable spread of cards in which magnetically readable information is recorded on a magnetic recording medium. ID cards, credit cards, cash cards, gift cards and telephone cards have been widely used. It has been used in many fields such as representative prepaid cards, tickets, coupons, and commuter passes. In this type of card, for example, a magnetic recording layer is provided on a card base, and information is magnetically recorded on the magnetic recording layer. According to this, the information recorded on the magnetic recording layer is invisible from the outside, and usually several tens of digits can be written, but the recorded information may be erased or rewritten intentionally. . In addition, although information is recorded on the card surface by means such as barcode, MICR, OCR, etc., there is a problem that fraudulent acts such as falsification can be easily performed because the information itself can be read. . (Problems to be Solved by the Invention) As described above, in such a conventional card of this type, there is a high possibility of being forged or falsified and abused.
There is a strong demand for the emergence of cards that make full use of technology to prevent this. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problem. For this purpose, it is possible to more effectively and reliably prevent forgery, falsification, and the like by making recorded information invisible, and determine whether the information is authentic. To provide a highly reliable information recording card that can easily perform the information recording. (Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the information recording card of the present invention is provided with a magnetic recording layer also serving as an infrared absorbing layer on a card base made of paper, a plastic sheet or the like. On the magnetic recording layer, an infrared reflective layer, which is partially missing in a pattern, is provided, and on this infrared reflective layer, a concealing layer that transmits infrared light and makes the infrared reflective layer invisible is provided. . (Operation) Therefore, in the information recording card of the present invention, the magnetic recording layer also serves as the infrared absorbing layer, and since the presence of the infrared absorbing layer and the infrared reflecting layer is not easily detected, the information recording card may be forged or falsified. Less is. In addition, when the card is irradiated with infrared light, the portion where the infrared reflective layer exists reflects the infrared light, while the missing portion passes the infrared light as it is, and the magnetic layer also serving as the infrared absorbing layer is provided inside the card. Almost absorbs infrared rays. Therefore, it is possible to determine the authenticity of the card by reading the pattern from the large difference in the infrared reflectance between the existing portion and the absence portion of the infrared reflective layer. Furthermore, since the magnetic layer also serving as the infrared absorption layer and the infrared reflection layer are invisible due to the concealment layer, it is possible to make it even more difficult to detect the presence of the magnetic layer and the infrared reflection layer. On the other hand, since the magnetic layer also serves as an infrared absorbing layer, infrared light can be absorbed without providing a separate infrared absorbing layer. Therefore, it is possible to simplify the layer structure and make the card thinner by that much, and it is possible to reduce the cost and the number of manufacturing steps by that much. Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. 1 to 3 show an embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a prepaid card. FIG. 1 is a plan view of the back side of the card, and FIG. 2 is a cross section taken along line XX 'of FIG. FIG. 3 and FIG. 3 are sectional views taken along the line YY 'of FIG. 1 to 3, a magnetic recording layer 2 also serving as an infrared absorbing layer is provided on the surface of a card base 1 which constitutes a part of a prepaid card.
An infrared reflective layer 3 is provided, which is partially missing on the pattern. This pattern may be a pattern for recording information such as a barcode pattern, or a pattern for confirming the presence or absence of a pattern. Further, a concealing layer 4 that transmits infrared light and makes the infrared reflective layer 3 invisible is provided on the infrared reflective layer 3. Furthermore, a transparent protective layer 5 is provided on the concealing layer 4. Here, the card base 1 is made of paper or a plastic sheet or the like. The magnetic recording layer 2 is made of a magnetic material as shown in the table below, for example, and magnetically records desired information. On the other hand, the infrared reflective layer 3 is, for example, a metal deposited layer of aluminum (A1), chromium (Cr), or the like;
Alternatively, it is made of a white ink or the like containing calcium carbonate or titanium oxide as a main component. The concealing layer 4 transmits infrared rays but does not transmit visible light.
The ink comprises a gray ink or the like obtained by appropriately mixing the process inks (yellow, magenta, cyan, and these are generally called YMC) as shown in the figure. Further, for example, when the card base 1 is paper,
It is formed by coating a varnish or laminating a transparent plastic film such as PVC.
Is a plastic sheet, it is formed by laminating a transparent plastic sheet such as PVC. In the prepaid card configured as above,
The magnetic recording layer 2 also serves as an infrared absorbing layer, and since the existence of the infrared absorbing layer and the infrared reflecting layer 3 is not easily detected, there is little possibility of forgery or falsification. Also,
When the card is irradiated with infrared light, the portion where the infrared reflective layer 3 exists reflects the infrared light, while the lacking portion passes the infrared light as it is, and the magnetic recording layer 2 which also serves as the infrared absorbing layer therein.
, The infrared ray is almost absorbed. That is, the magnetic recording layer 2 is formed of the magnetic material as shown in the above table, and particularly when formed of barium ferrite, its color becomes almost black, so that the magnetic recording layer 2 also functions as an infrared absorbing layer. Will do. Therefore, it is possible to determine the authenticity of the card by reading the pattern from the large difference in the infrared reflectance between the existing portion and the absence portion of the infrared reflective layer 3. As a specific method, this recording unit is scanned by an infrared sensor, an output signal is obtained in accordance with the pattern, and whether or not the output signal is a predetermined one is determined to be true or false, or By looking at this pattern visually using an IR scope, it is possible to determine the authenticity. Further, the magnetic layer 2 also serving as the infrared absorbing layer and the infrared reflecting layer 3
Since it is invisible by the concealing layer 4, it is possible to make it more difficult to detect its existence. on the other hand,
Since the magnetic recording layer 2 also functions as an infrared absorption layer, infrared absorption can be performed without providing a separate infrared absorption layer. Accordingly, the layer structure of the card can be simplified by that much, and the card can be made thinner, and the material cost can be reduced and the number of card manufacturing steps can be reduced accordingly. (Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, a magnetic recording layer also serving as an infrared absorbing layer is provided on a card base made of paper, a plastic sheet, or the like. Is provided with an infrared reflective layer that is missing in a pattern, and a concealing layer that transmits infrared light and makes the infrared reflective layer invisible is provided on the infrared reflective layer. To reduce costs, reduce the number of manufacturing processes, and make the recorded information invisible to prevent forgery and falsification more effectively and reliably. And a highly reliable information recording card that can easily perform the information recording.
