In commercial facilities such as golf courses, baseball stadiums, and amusement parks, it is always desirable that the greenery of the lawn be beautiful. Thus, a method of coloring a lawn that has begun to change to light brown to green has been proposed and put into practical use. This method can make the lawn look beautiful even in winter, and is an effective means for commercial use in the case of commercial facilities.

In this case, as a coloring component, it is necessary to select a dye having excellent fastness to sunlight and rain, and as a binder, it has a carrying effect on lawn and does not easily flow out due to rain, but for a long time, It is necessary to select one that does not remain and does not adversely affect the germination of the next year.

In addition, a method using rubber latex as a binder to strongly support the coloring component on grass is also known.

Has the disadvantage of being inferior. In addition, when rubber latex is used, it is difficult to spread the coloring component on the leaves in a favorable manner, and the coloring becomes uneven microscopically.

The color of the pigment may be any color that can color the lawn green alone or by blending, and usually, green or a combination of yellow and blue is used. Specific examples of these pigments, for example, as a green pigment, phthalocyanine green,
Naphthol green, green gold, emerald green and cobalt green, etc., as yellow pigments such as Hansa Yellow, Benzidine Yellow, Permanent Yellow, yellow iron oxide and titanium yellow, etc., and phthalocyanine blue as a blue pigment, Indigo, ultramarine, navy blue, cobalt blue, cerulean blue, and the like. In the case of the present invention, it is more preferable to use an organic pigment.

The mixture of the pigment and water can be performed, for example, by treating with a sand grinder. Examples of the anionic dispersant include naphthalenesulfonic acid-formalin condensate, ligninsulfonic acid-formalin condensate,
Higher alkylbenzene sulfonates, sulfates of higher alcohols and fatty acids, higher alkyl ether sulfates, sulfated olefins, α-orphin sulfonates, sodium alkylmethyltaurate, dialkyl sulfosuccinates, phosphate ester salts and the like. And a sulfonic acid group-containing anionic dispersant.
The amount of the anionic dispersant used is usually 5 to 30% by weight based on the pigment. The amount of the pigment is about 2 to 35% by weight based on the total amount of the colorant.

It is. At this time, the content ratio of styrene is usually 3 to 50 mol%, preferably 5 to 30 mol%. If the styrene content is low,
A colorant with excellent fastness to rain could not be obtained,
On the other hand, if the amount is too large, the development on the leaves when the colorant is sprayed becomes poor, which is not preferable. The molecular weight of the copolymer is about several thousands to several hundred thousand, similar to the molecular weight of a normal emulsion, and can be easily produced by a known emulsion polymerization method of the emulsion, but the copolymer emulsion of the present invention is commercially available. So it is easy to use.

If the amount of the emulsion is too small, the colorant has insufficient fastness, and if the amount is too large, the effect is not changed, so that it is not economical.

In this case, the colorant is diluted with water as needed, and the dilution ratio is, for example, about 50 to 100 times. In short, the concentration of the pigment in the colorant
It is desirable to adjust to about 0.05 to 0.8% by weight. In addition,
The application rate of the colorant to the lawn depends on the color tone of the target lawn, but it is preferable to spray the colorant at a rate of, for example, about 100 to 1000 ml / m 2 .
