(57)【特許請求の範囲】(57) [Claims] 【請求項1】 コネクタハウジングの端子収容室へ挿入
される電線の先端部には、端子収容室内に形成されたラ
ンスに係止する端子金具がかしめ固定されるとともに、
前記電線には前記端子金具によってかしめ固定されるシ
ール用ゴム栓が嵌着され、かつこのゴム栓には前記端子
収容室の後部開口縁を閉止する終端栓が形成されてなる
防水コネクタにおいて、 前記ゴム栓には、前記端子金具における前記ランスが係
止する位置と、前記終端栓における前記端子収容室の後
部開口縁と当接する位置との間の距離を調整するため
に、軸線方向へ伸縮可能な伸縮部が形成されていること
を特徴とする防水コネクタ。
1. A terminal fitting for engaging a lance formed in a terminal receiving chamber is caulked and fixed to a distal end portion of an electric wire inserted into a terminal receiving chamber of a connector housing.
In a waterproof connector, a sealing rubber plug fixed by caulking with the terminal fitting is fitted to the electric wire, and a terminal plug for closing a rear opening edge of the terminal accommodating chamber is formed on the rubber plug. The rubber stopper can be extended and contracted in the axial direction in order to adjust a distance between a position where the lance of the terminal fitting is locked by the lance and a position where the terminal stopper contacts the rear opening edge of the terminal accommodating chamber. A waterproof connector characterized by having a flexible expansion and contraction portion.
