Hereinafter, a sleep evaluation device according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the embodiment, and FIG. 2 is a block diagram of the embodiment. In FIGS. 1 and 2, reference numeral 1 denotes a body movement detecting means, which is a flexible piezoelectric element 2, a filter circuit 3, an amplifier circuit 4, a rectifier circuit 5, an integration circuit 6, a comparison circuit 7, a body movement storage circuit. 8. Here, the piezoelectric element 2 is provided on the mattress 14 of the bed. The body motion storage circuit 8 stores the time at which the body motion occurred. 9 is a first calculating means, 10 is a second calculating means, 11 is a display means, a display 12, a display button
It has 13 and is fixed to the bed.

The operation of the above configuration will be described below. When the user enters the bed and the body motion occurs, the piezoelectric element 2 is deformed to generate a voltage, and only a predetermined frequency component is extracted from the generated signal by the filter circuit 3 and then amplified, rectified and integrated. , Is compared with a predetermined threshold value Vo by the comparison circuit 7. Here, the output V from the integration circuit 6 is Vo
In the above case, the output signal of the comparison circuit 7 is set to the Hi state assuming that the body motion has occurred, and if V is less than Vo, the output signal of the comparison circuit 7 is set to the Lo state assuming that no body motion has occurred. The body motion storage circuit 8 sequentially stores the time when the output signal of the comparison circuit 7 becomes Hi state. The above operation is continued until the user presses the display button 13.

By the way, between body movement and feeling of sleep, it is recognized that there is a tendency that when the awakening feeling is refreshing, the number of body movements per unit time tends to be small and the average time of body movement appearance intervals tends to be long. Based on this knowledge, sleep can be evaluated from the number of body movements per unit time and the average time of body movement appearance intervals.
That is, when the user presses the display button 13 at the time of getting up, the first calculating means 9 changes the number of times of body movement per unit time No based on the body movement data stored in the body movement storage circuit 8 to the second number. The calculating means 10 calculates the average time To of the body motion appearance interval. The calculated data is displayed on the display 12 by the display means 11. At this time, as shown in FIG.
The display 12 displays two-dimensional coordinates using the number of body movements N per unit time and the average time T of body movement appearance intervals as vertical and horizontal axes, respectively, and further clearly shows the sleep area G. The data No. and To are displayed in these coordinates (P in the figure). The user can evaluate the sleep of the night by seeing whether or not the coordinates P are in the sleep area G.
