アンテナ端子9とアンテナとの結合は容量結合となって
いて、共振棒6とアンテナ端子9は機械的接触なしに、
電気的に結合されている。図2,図3はアンテナ端子9
と結合容量1との結合状態を示している。図2は平行円
盤1A,1Bのコンデンサとし、円盤1Aの中心にアン
テナ端子9の導体を接続し、この導体を軸として回転さ
せる。図3は筒状の外導体1Cに円柱状の内導体1Dを
挿入して容量を形成している。内外導体を同軸上に配置
し、アンテナ端子9に接続された内導体1Dを回転させ
る。いずれの構成によってもアンテナ端子9の回転に対
して、結合容量は一定に保たれるので、アンテナ端の回
転により結合容量1の電気特性の変化は起こらない。ま
たこの結合容量は、1GHzで1pF程度の微少容量で
あるために、通常の50オーム程度の伝送線路で容量結
合を実現する場合に比べて、容量値を1/100程度に
低減できる。したがって、小型化がはかれるという利点
を有する。また図3の実施例では、例えばフィルタとし
て誘電体同軸形式のものを用いれば極めて小型のアンテ
ナ分波器が実現できる。
