気掃除機を提供することを課題とする。 【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、集塵部及び電
動送風機を内蔵する掃除機本体と、該掃除機本体に一端
部が接続される可撓性ホースと、該可撓性ホースの他端
部に設けられ、ハンドル部を有する曲がりパイプと、該
曲がりパイプに接続される延長管と、該延長管に接続さ
れる吸込具とを備え、前記ハンドル部は、曲がりパイプ
の延長管が接続される端部側から可撓性ホース側に向か
って延長管と略同方向に延設される延設部と、該延設部
から延設部の延長方向よりホース側に湾曲した把手部と
を形成すると共に、前記ハンドル部を、曲がりパイプと
一体形成した下ケースと、該下ケースの開口を閉塞する
カバー部材とから構成し、 前記延設部内の下ケースと
カバー部材とで囲まれる空間に、電動送風機を制御する
制御部品を収納したことを特徴とする。上記構成によれ
ば、曲がりパイプに一体形成された下ケースの上面開口
部から下ケースの延設部内に制御部を収納し、下ケース
の上面開口部をカバー部材により被ってハンドル部を構
成する。ハンドル部を構成する上面開口の下ケースを曲
がりパイプと一体形成しているので、制御部を下ケース

制御部12はリード線13により可撓性ホース4の導電線6
に接続された各種電気部品を備えた制御基板14と、この
制御基板14上に取り付けられた操作杆15を有する可変抵
抗体16とより構成している。17は前記下ケース8の上面
開口部を被うカバー部材で、先端突出部18を前記曲がり
パイプ7に形成した係止穴部19に挿入係止し、中央部は
カバー部材17と下ケース8から互いに突出形成した係止
爪20、21を係合し、後端はネジ22により曲がりパイプ7
に設けたボス部23に固定して、前記下ケース8とカバー
部材17とを一体化している。24は前記カバー部材17の延
設部10上面に配設された可変抵抗体16の操作体で、前記
カバー部材17の両側面に形成した案内溝25に沿って延設
部10の延設方向に摺動するようになっており、前記操作
体24は可変抵抗体16の操作杆15と連結され、操作体24の
摺動により可変抵抗体16の抵抗値を変化させて掃除機本
体1に内蔵された電動送風機の制御を行うようになって
いる。26は前記可撓性ホース4と曲がりパイプ7の接続
部を被覆する筒状カバー、27は前記可撓性ホース4の本
体差込部で、前記掃除機本体1の上面側に形成された吸
気口(図示せず)に着脱自在に接続されるようになってい
