[Prior art] This type of individual information delivery method in pay broadcasting is a new technology, and there is no precedent in the prior art, but there are two prerequisites that led to the present invention. It will be described with reference to FIG.

FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram of a transmitting side and a receiving side in pay broadcasting. For pay stations A to E, the receiver is A
~ E channel can be received as desired. Unless the receiver has a viewing contract with a desired pay broadcast station, the receiver cannot be able to descramble the scrambled broadcast program, and thus cannot view normally. To perform normal viewing, make a contract with a pay broadcasting station, and transmit individual information such as the contract details and key code for descrambling to the contractor using radio waves from the contracted pay broadcasting station in advance. You have to store the individual information sent to the subscriber's receiver. In this case, on the receiving side, it is essential that the receiving channel is the channel of the contracted pay broadcast station. For example, if a viewing contract is made with station A, the individual information of station A is transmitted by radio waves of station A, so the receiving side sets the receiving channel to channel A until the receiver receives the individual information required by station A. Need to be Therefore, when the receiver is watching the broadcast of the station C, even if the individual information of the station A is transmitted, the individual information of the station A cannot be received because the receiving channel is the station C. Things can happen.

FIG. 6 shows a first method for solving this problem. In the figure, stations A to D are pay stations, and station E is stations A to D
It is an individual information delivery station that sends only the individual information of the station.
The first method is characterized in that individual information of each station can always be sent through the E station. The second method is a system in which each pay broadcasting station in FIG. 5 distributes individual information of all stations. The pay broadcast station A distributes individual information of its own station and stations B to E. The pay broadcast station B distributes the individual method of its own station, the stations A, and the stations C to E. Similarly, the stations C, D, and E also deliver the individual information of the own station and the other stations, respectively. Therefore, the receiver can receive the individual information of the subscribed pay broadcast station regardless of which of the stations A to E is selected as the reception channel.

In the first method described above, since a dedicated channel for distributing only the individual information of all stations is provided, a loss of one radio wave and a cost for operating and managing the individual information distribution station are required. In addition, the receiving side also needs a facility for receiving two waves, which causes a problem of high cost.

Further, in the second method, since the individual information of the own station and the other station are mixed and distributed, the distribution capacity of the individual information of the own station is controlled as the individual information of the other station increases. Furthermore, since individual information of another station is handled, a problem arises in information management.

The individual information delivery method for pay broadcasting according to the present invention distributes the location information of this delivery station by a delivery station for each date determined in advance, and obtains a date obtained from the program information from the program information except during viewing by any receiver. The personal information is received by the home channel automatically set to the individual information delivery channel of the day from the surplus information divided by the obtained number of channels of the pay broadcast station, and the individual information of the pay broadcast station is delivered.

FIG. 1 is a diagram for explaining the operation on the transmitting side and the receiving side in one embodiment of the present invention. Here, a case where the individual information of the station A is delivered and received will be described. As a precondition, it is assumed that the power supply on the receiving side is always turned on. On the transmitting side, station A delivers individual information all day. On the receiving side, after the receiver turns on the viewing and listens to the C and E channels that are the desired pay broadcast channels, the receiver turns off the viewing, thereby automatically forcing the channel position to the home channel (A). Be transformed into That is, home channel reception is performed except when the receiver is watching. Therefore, if the home channel in this case is the channel A, the individual information of the station A can be received. By performing this operation based on the delivery schedule shown in FIG. 2, individual information of all stations can be delivered and received. However, the receiving home channel must be automatically changed according to the date.

Next, the automatic change of the home channel will be described with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4. FIG. FIG. 3 shows a flowchart for generating a home channel on the receiving side. First, get the date and the number of channels of the pay station (S3
1). This information is common to all stations, is always transmitted as pay broadcast program information, and can be easily obtained. Next, the remaining information obtained by dividing the date by the number of channels is extracted (S32). Using this information, channel conversion is performed and a home channel is set (S33, S34). FIG. 4 shows a specific example. In the case of date 1, the remainder information is set to 1 because division by 5 is not possible. Channel A is converted to channel A for surplus information 1. Similarly, date 2
Is surplus information 2 and the channel conversion is changed to B channel,
Date 3 is remainder information 3 and channel conversion is channel C, date 4 is remainder information 4 and channel conversion is channel D, and date 5 is remainder information 0 and channel conversion is channel E. As for the remainder information after the date 6, the remainder information from the date 1 to the date 5 is repeated. In other words, there is only surplus information of the number of channels. Therefore, if the surplus information is made to correspond to the home channel by channel conversion, the home channel can be automatically changed when the date changes.

As described above, according to the present invention, individual information is delivered based on a predetermined daily delivery plan, and received on a home channel whose channel is automatically changed corresponding to the individual information delivery station. Accordingly, it is not necessary to provide a dedicated channel for delivering individual information, and as a result, the channel can be effectively used and the operation cost can be reduced. In addition, since each station delivers individual information on a daily basis, it is possible to deliver the individual information without limiting the transmission capacity of the individual information.
