の写真感光材料上に画像と文字とを組合せて順次自動的
に焼付ける写真焼付方法の改良に関する。 (従来の技術) この種の写真焼付方法は、ネガフィルムによる画像を
焼付ける装置(11)と、リスフィルムによる文字を焼付
ける装置(12)との機構上の相違から各装置は写真感光
材料(10)の搬送方向に沿って各々別々に前後に一定の
間隔をおいて並設され、順次飛石状の各別に、且つ同時

合せたプリントを連続して焼付けるため、写真感光材料
上の焼き始めと焼き終りに、さらには焼付け内容の変更
時に全く焼付けされない未露光のコーナーができ、これ
が焼き始めと焼き終りに、さらには焼付け内容の変更時
に無意味な空白を有する画像または文字のみから成る不
完全な1コマがそれぞれ焼付けられ、写真感光材料を無
駄にしていた。 この発明は、この一連の写真焼付過程における焼き始
めと焼き終りに必ず発生していた焼付けされない抜け部
をなくすることにより、写真感光材料を有効に利用する
ことを目的とする。 (問題点を解決するための手段) この発明は前述の目的を達成するため、長尺の写真感
光材料上の1コマ内に画像および文字を組合せて順次焼
付けるについて、画像および文字を焼付けるだけの間隔
をおいて画像と文字を写真感光材料上の隣接する2コマ
に前後に跨がって飛石状に同時に焼付け、この後位置の
焼付け部の前側に続いて飛石状に焼付ける前位置の画像
または文字を順次繰込ませるべくコマ送りして順次連続
して焼付ける方法において、写真感光材料の搬送(コマ
送り)を正逆操作し、これに画像および文字を同時に、
または一方のみを焼付け操作して繰込ませ、1コマ内に
画像と文字を順次組合せて焼付けるようにしたことを特
徴とする写真焼付方法を提案する。 (作用) 写真感光材料の搬送操作に対し、画像および文字を同
時または一方のみを焼付けるよう操作して繰込ませるこ
とにより、飛石部を焼き埋めることができる。即ち、焼
き始めにおいて、前後に間隔をおいた画像および文字の
通常の露光位置に搬送され、または前の通常(画像の
み)の焼付露光終了した状態の長尺の写真感光材料を一
定の長さ逆送りして後退させた所で、後位置の画像また
は文字のみを焼付けた後、この焼付け部の前側に次に飛
石状に焼付けられる画像および文字のうち前位置の画像
または文字が隣接して焼付けられるべく写真感光材料を
正送りして搬送し、隣接する2コマに跨がって飛石状に
画像および文字を同時に焼付けることにより、最初の1
コマまで画像と文字が組合せられて焼付けられる。その
後順次1コマ毎正送りしながら画像および文字を隣接す
る2コマに跨がって飛石状に交互に繰込ませて焼付ける
ことにより、画像および文字が組合せられた各コマが連
続して焼付けられる。 焼き終りには、正送りして前位置の画像または文字の
みを焼付けることにより、最後に飛石状に焼付けられた
後位置の画像または文字の前側に隣接する未露光の所に
組合せるべき画像または文字が焼付けられて最後の1コ
マまで画像と文字が組合せられて焼付けられる。 途中で焼付け内容を変更する場合では、前位置の画像
または文字のみを焼付け、コマ送りしないままで新しい
内容のネガに交換した画像、文字のうち後位置のみを焼
付け、写真感光材料をコマ送りして画像および文字を同
時に焼付けることにより、変更時の飛石状の未露光部分
が充足させることができる。 (実施例) 次に、この発明に係る写真焼付方法の具体的実施例を

く装架した長尺の写真感光材料(1)上の隣接する2コ
マに跨がって画像(X)と文字(Y)を互いに間隔をお
いて飛石状に順次焼付けるようその搬送方法に沿って前
位置に画像を焼付ける装置(2)を、後位置に文章など
の文字を焼付ける装置(3)を並設して各装置(2)
(3)の光軸(2a)(3a)が写真感光材料(1)面に対
向すべく装備する。この画像(X)と文字(Y)の互い
の間隔は1コマ(W)に相当する画像焼付けおよび文字
焼付けの長さによって異なり、この長さに前位置の画像
焼付けの長さを加えたものがその飛び間隔となり、この
距離を各焼付け装置(2)(3)間において並設する。
これに対し写真感光材料(1)のコマ送り長さは1コマ
(W)および枠代(V)に相当する画像焼付けおよび文
字焼付けの長さを1ピッチとしている。 第1図は長尺の写真感光材料(1)上に焼付けていた
文字焼付けをしない通常プリント(U)に代えて、1コ
マ(W)中に画像(X)と文章などの文字(Y)を組合

に露光させるべく操作することにより、画像(X1)と文
字(Y1)が、画像(X2)と文字(Y2)がそれぞれ1コマ
内に組合されて順次連続して長尺写真感光材料(1)上
に焼付けられる。 第2図は第1図での焼付け終りにおいて、Iでは画像
(X99)と文字(Y100)が飛石状に露光されて飛石部(Z
100)を有する最後の1コマ(W)を形成し、IIでは写
真感光材料(1)を1コマ(W)および枠代(V)分正
送りして前位置の画像(X100)のみを露光することによ
り、飛石部(Z100)に画像(X100)が焼付けられて組合
せられ、画像(X100)と文字(Y100)とから成る最後の
1コマが形成される。 第3図は途中で焼付け内容を変更する場合で、Iでは
前後の画像(X49)と文字(Y50)を同時に焼付け、IIで
写真感光材料(1)をコマ(W)(V)送りして前位置
の画像(X50)だけを焼付ける。次にIIIでコマ送りしな
いままで新しい内容の画像ネガと文字ネガを交換して後
位置の文字(Y1)だけ焼付け、IVで写真感光材料(1)
をコマ(W)(V)送りして前後の画像(X1)と文字
(Y2)を同時に飛石状に焼付け、Vで順次コマ送り、焼
付けを繰返すことにより、焼付け内容変更時に未露光に
よる空白部の生じることを防止して連続した焼付けが得
られる。 この焼付方法では、同時に飛石状に焼付けられる画像
および文字であるけれどもその焼付内容は第1図IIに示
すように前位置の画像は前の1コマの画像(X1)を、ま
た後位置の文字は後の1コマの文字(Y2)をそれぞれ隣
接する2コマに跨がって焼付けられ、これを前後繰込ま
せることにより、1コマ(W)内に同一内容の画像と文
字を順次組合せていくものである。 (発明の効果) この発明は長尺写真感光材料上に画像と文字を組合せ
た1コマを連続して焼付けるについて画像と文字を各々
前後に間隔をおいて写真感光材料上の隣接する2コマに
跨がって飛石状に同時に焼付け、写真感光材料を正送り
しながらこの飛石状焼付け部の飛石未露光(空白)部に
次の飛石状焼付け部が繰込むよう順次連続して焼付ける
