In the conventional life-saving light-emitting device as described above, since the arc tube is disposed horizontally in the light-transmitting portion, the axial directions at both ends of the arc tube are blocked by the electrodes, resulting in shadows. In other words, the farther the distance, the larger the shadow portion and the wider the area where light cannot reach.

As described above, in the life-saving light-emitting device of the present invention, the reflector is placed at the bottom in the light-transmitting portion of the casing, and the light-emitting tube is set up obliquely above it so that the light-emitting tube is installed in the horizontal direction. The only thing that blocks light is a thin conducting wire, and light will be emitted in all directions.
In the upward direction, not only the direct light from the firing tube is radiated, but also the light reflected on the reflector is radiated, so the light reflected on the reflector also extends in the central axis extension direction of the arc tube where the direct light is blocked. Is emitted, light is emitted in all directions of the hemisphere, and the blind spot where light is blocked completely disappears.
