Inclined ones are well known. However, conventionally, the thickness of the light guide plate is substantially the same as the thickness of the instrument body, and the instrument body is extremely heavy. Further, when considering a double-sided indicator light having a display surface on both sides, it is low cost to make the light guide plate the same for both the single-sided and double-sided types. Therefore, it has become necessary to make the thickness of the light guide plate approximately half the thickness of the instrument body.

Light from the lamp 4 introduced into the gap 8 is reflected on the inner side surface of the housing 1, and the reflected light enters the light guide plate 7,
It comes out of the instrument body from the display panel 3 on the front. For this reason, the upper part of the display panel 3 near the lamp 4 is bright, and the lower part of the display panel 3 farther from the lamp 4 is dark.

Note that the overall configuration of the device main body is the same as that of the related art. As shown in FIG. 1, the gist of the present invention is that a light shielding plate, which is a light shielding portion, is provided near the lamp 4 and on the upper part of the back surface of the light guide plate 7. 10 is arranged. The light shielding plate 10 is disposed over the entire length of the light guide plate 7 in the longitudinal direction. The thickness of the light guide plate 7 is approximately half of the thickness of the housing 1, and the display plate 3 is located farther below the lamp 4 so that the light introduced into the light guide plate 7 is easily refracted and emitted.
The side is inclined.

I have. That is, the vicinity of the lamp 4 of the display panel 3 is illuminated with only the light directly introduced from the lamp 4 into the light guide plate 7. That is, the light introduced into the gap 8 between the inner surface of the housing 1 and the light guide plate 7
At point P 1 , the light is reflected toward the light-shielding plate 10, and the reflected light is reflected again at the point P 2 on the outer surface of the light-shielding plate 10 toward the inner surface of the housing 1 and travels downward of the housing 1. The light is reflected again by the P 3 points of the housing 1 enters into the light guide plate 7 at P 4 points, P 5
It comes out to the display board 3 side at a point.

Light introduced into the gap 8 between the inner surface of the housing 1 and the light guide plate 7 at the lower side is added, and the minimum luminance value increases. Therefore, the degree of uniformity is remarkably improved, and a preferable indicator light and guide light are obtained. It is desirable that the light-shielding plate 10 has a mirror surface on the reflection surface side in order to reduce a loss at the time of reflection.

Is cut off in a triangular shape, a part of the light shielding plate 10 is made translucent, and light reflected from the inner surface of the housing 1 passes through the light guide plate 7 only in the vicinity of the lamp socket 11. The above problem can be solved, and the uniformity can be improved over the entire display surface.

The light shielding portion of the light guide plate may be pasted with a mirror surface material, printed on the mirror surface, or furthermore, may be printed on the light guide plate. A method of forming a prism that does not enter the optical plate may be used.

Since the light shielding portion for reflecting the reflected light is provided, the light from the light source is reflected by the light shielding portion, further reflected by the inner surface of the housing, and the light is incident on the end side of the light guide plate. By doing so, only the direct light from the light source is introduced into the light guide plate near the light source, and the light is reflected by the light shielding portion and the inner surface of the housing through the gap at the end portion of the light guide plate away from the light source. Since light is added and introduced, the luminance near the light source of the light guide plate decreases compared to the conventional one, and the luminance increases at the part far from the light source, so that the uniformity improves and the minimum luminance also increases. It has the effect of providing ideal lighting equipment such as indicator lights and guide lights. Is what you do.
