The present invention relates to an apparatus that performs consistent management from the start-up of the apparatus to disposal without losing the life of the battery.

Therefore, a counter is provided according to the number of times of use, the installation period, etc., the life is recognized, and the counter is cleared by maintenance replacement.
Such a life counter and other device-specific information are frequently rewritten when the power is turned on, and it is necessary to hold this information even when the power is turned off.

If the battery life is recognized and the battery is not replaced, the information will be lost. When a dedicated memory is prepared, there is a problem that the capacity becomes large on the hardware side such as a battery backup and a battery life recognition circuit. The same applies when non-volatile memory for other purposes is used or when dedicated memory is mounted on the same board, but if the board is replaced for any kind of failure or maintenance, the whole memory will be lost. There is a problem of losing information. Also, there is a problem that no recovery measures are taken when the memory contents are destroyed for some reason.

And configured as a non-volatile memory separably mounted on the device board, and when replacing the board in the device, the information stored in the other non-volatile memory transferred to the board after the replacement is replaced The data is copied to the one non-volatile memory on the substrate.

The battery built-in RAM 1 is mounted so as to be separable from the device board by an IC socket. A part of the firmware RAM 3 is used for the nonvolatile memory 2. The firmware RAM 3 has a battery backup 4, and the battery life can be detected by the battery voltage drop recognition circuit 5. The battery voltage drop recognition circuit 5 uses a battery backup hybrid IC that recognizes a battery voltage drop and notifies a battery alarm. These are operated by the CPU 6.

Copying is performed at the same time as loading the firmware onto the firmware RAM3 when starting up the device and replacing the board. Thereafter, when the contents of the non-volatile memory 1 are rewritten, the backup area is also rewritten at the same time, so that the same contents as the non-volatile memory are always updated in the firmware RAM 3.

Here, it is possible to discover when the nonvolatile memory 1 is destroyed due to the life of the battery. When the non-volatile memory 1 is replaced, recovery can be performed only by copying the non-volatile memory 2. Non-volatile memory 2 is firmware
Since the contents are guaranteed in the memory of the RAM 3, an error in this comparison can be determined to be an error of the nonvolatile memory 1.
