(Prior Art) Conventionally, various curled cords obtained by curling a cord in which a conductor is insulated and further covered with a sheath material are curled. Using sheath material made of natural rubber or synthetic rubber, vinyl chloride polymer, polyethylene, polyamide,
There has been known one using a thermoplastic polymer such as polypropylene or a polyetherester elastomer as a sheath material. Further, it is known that a vinyl chloride polymer, polyethylene, polyamide, polypropylene, cross-linked polyvinyl chloride, cross-linked polyethylene, polyester ether elastomer or the like is used as an insulating coating material. (Problems to be Solved by the Invention) Conventionally, known curl cords are curled cords using various insulating coating materials and various sheath materials. A curl cord having excellent elastic recovery, that is, a curl cord having a good curl holding property by repeated use, a stretch property at a high temperature is maintained, a surface dirt is small, and a sheath material is not deteriorated at a low temperature is excellent. Have been obtained. For example, the well-known curled cord of a vinyl chloride polymer sheath is economically excellent, flame-retardant and widely known, but has no heat resistance and curl retention. May disappear at high temperatures and even lose their significance as a curl code. Further, the surface is easily stained, the curl itself gradually expands due to its own weight, and the curl retention is poor, so that the curl has an unnecessary length even when it is not stretched. Further, the use of a polyester ether elastomer for the sheath material has advantages such as excellent curl retention and excellent curl elongation recovery, but sufficient weather resistance for non-black, especially light-colored colorings In addition, there may be a problem that the function as a protective coating is lost outside, especially in a place where direct sunlight is applied at a high temperature. Furthermore, while being excellent in elastic recovery and excellent in curl retention, it requires a great deal of stress when extended and used from its non-extended state,
For example, when used in a cord for a telephone, etc., it causes disadvantages such as pulling the telephone at hand, and further, such a polyester elastomer sheath material has a disadvantage that it is more flammable than a vinyl chloride polymer. doing. As described above, in the conventionally known curl cord, although it has an excellent point in individual performance, it has a good curl retention necessary as a practical curl cord, and a curl elongation recovery property. However, there is a problem that the various properties are not retained in a well-balanced manner, such as excellent flame retardancy, good flame retardancy to obtain an appropriate elongation with a small force, and excellent weather resistance. Further, it is necessary for the curl cord to be practically excellent in terms of economy and productivity. (Means for Solving the Problems) In a curled cord having a conductor and a sheath covered with a conductor coating, the conductor coating (insulating coating) is a polyester-based elastomer having a soft segment of 50% by mass or less, and the sheath is The soft segment contains at least 50% by weight of a polyester-based elastomer, and has substantially excellent curl cord, that is, excellent curl retention. When the force is removed, it returns to the original length in a short time,
As a result of intensive studies, the present inventors have arrived at the present invention to obtain a curl cord which is excellent in weather resistance and flame retardancy, is easily covered with an insulating coating and a sheath by melt molding, and can be manufactured relatively inexpensively. That is, the present invention provides a curled cord having a conductor and a sheath covered with a conductor coating, wherein the cord has a diameter of 1 mm.
Or the cross-sectional area is 1 mm 2 or more, and the vertical elongation [L 0 ] of the curl portion due to its own weight is 10% or less, and 50 g
A curl cord characterized in that the elongation [L 50 ] of the curled portion relative to the length of the curled portion in the vertical direction under load under load is 200% or more. The force used by a person is about 50 g to 100 g without any difference in resistance, which is a practical problem unless the curl cord is sufficiently extended by such a force. In the curl cord of the present invention, [L 50 ] is preferably at least 300%, more preferably at least 400%. The figures are used to further explain the invention. FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a curl cord according to the present invention, wherein 2 is a curl diameter, 3 is a curl portion, and the length is the curl length. The portion outside the curl portion and having a substantially straight shape perpendicular to or parallel to the axis of the curl is shown, and a plug, a connector, or the like may be attached to the outer end of the curl portion. FIGS. 2 and 3 illustrate cross sections of the curl cord according to the present invention, wherein 5 is a conductor, 6 is an insulating coating, and 7 is a sheath. R is the diameter of the cord. FIG. 4 exemplifies a state of the curl cord in the present invention, and FIG. A shows a state where the curl cord is placed horizontally and the curl part does not extend, and the length (l 0 ) of the curl part at this time is shown. It shows. Fig. B shows a state in which the plug attached to the outer end of the curl portion of the curl cord is removed, one end of the curl cord is fixedly supported by 8 (fixing support), and a load other than its own weight is applied to the other end. a no, which shows the elongation state by its own weight, the length of the curl portion of the time between l 1.
Figure C is the same as Figure B, with the other end at W
1 shows the state of elongation due to W 1 (g) when a load of 1 (g) is applied.
And W1, W 1 is the time of 50g when the l 50, 100 g for displaying a l 100. In the curled cord of the present invention, the elongation [L 0 ] due to its own weight is 10% or less, that is, [L 0 ] =
{(L 1 −l 0 ) / l 0 } × 100 (%) is 10 or less. Furthermore, the elongation under a 50% load is 200% or more, that is, [L 50 ] = {(l 50 −l 1 ) / l 1 } × 100 (%)
Are more than 200. This [L 50 ] is preferably 300
And more preferably 400 or more. Furthermore, (L 0 ) and (L 50 ) are satisfied and (L 100 ) is 400
Or more, preferably 500 or more. in this way,
In order to obtain a curled cord that has a small extension due to its own weight and that can be easily extended with a small force at the time of extension, and a curled cord that has the other objects of the present invention in a well-balanced manner, a polyester-based material is used as a conductor covering material (insulating covering material). It is preferred to use an elastomer of Further, as the sheath material, a vinyl chloride polymer is preferably used as a main component, and a material obtained by blending the vinyl chloride polymer with an appropriate amount of a polyester elastomer or the like is used. Examples of the polyester-based elastomer used in the present invention include a polyester ester type elastomer composed of a crystalline aromatic polyester segment and a polylactone segment, and a polyester ether type elastomer composed of a crystalline aromatic polyester segment and a polyether ester segment. . As the conductor of the present invention, in order to meet the object of the present invention, a thinner or thinner thin wire (single wire) or foil wire (single wire) is preferably twisted or twisted. For example, a fine wire having a diameter of 0.1 mmφ or less is preferable. In the case of a foil wire, the one having a cross-sectional area of 0.01 mm 2 or less is preferable. What performance L 0 is L 50 10% less than 200% of the present invention, a thin insulating coating, yet if thinner sheath layer, but can be achieved when using a natural rubber, both coated electrode Tan If the thickness is too small, the durability will be lost and only those having poor practicality will be obtained. In the present invention, the diameter of the cord is 1 m
It must be a curled cord from a cord having a cross-sectional area of 1 mm 2 or more, even if the cross section is not round or more than m. Combine both the insulation coating and the sheath coating to achieve a thickness of 0.2m
m, preferably 0.3 mm or more. Furthermore, in the present invention, as the insulating coating (conductor coating), a polyester-based elastomer having a soft segment of 50% by weight or less is used as an elastomer, and as the sheath, a polyester-based elastomer having a soft segment of 50% by weight or more is used. It is necessary, and it is preferable that the vinyl chloride polymer is 50% by weight or more and the elastomer containing 50% by weight or more of the soft segment of the polyester elastomer is 50% by weight or less. These insulating coating materials and sheath materials include plasticizers, stabilizers, coloring pigments, pigments,
Carbon black, metal fine powder, inorganic fine powder and the like may be added. (Example) (1) A polyester ester elastomer (Toyobo PEL: S6001) having a soft segment of 50% by weight or less is melt-extruded using a conductor made of 30 pieces of annealed copper wire (0.05 mm in diameter) and melt-extruded to a thickness of 0.2 mm. Covered. A polyester ether elastomer (manufactured by Toyobo Co., Ltd.) comprising four insulated conductors and having a soft segment of 50% by weight or more.
(PEL: 40H) A sheath composed of 25 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride polymer and 75 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride polymer was coated by melt extrusion. The obtained cord had a diameter of 2.5 mm. Sheath thickness is about 1.0
mm. This cord was wound around a cylinder having a diameter of 8 mm and heat-treated to obtain a curled cord. As a comparative example, a curl cord was obtained in the same manner as in Example except that polypropylene was used for the conductor coating and a vinyl chloride polymer was used for the sheath. Each curl cord was cut out so that the curl length 10 was 20 cm, and each performance was measured. The results are shown in Table 1. (2) A curled cord was obtained in the same manner as in the example of (1) except that a conductor formed by combining four soft copper wires (diameter 0.8 mm) was used. Cut the curl cord to l 0 is 20 cm, it was measured performance. L 0 was 2.8%, but L 50 was less than 100%, which was hard and difficult to stretch with a small force. (3) In the embodiment (1), the thickness of the insulating coating is 0.08.
A curl cord was obtained in the same manner except that the thickness of the sheath was 0.1 mm. L 0 is 20cm outer diameter was 0.7mm Code
And the performance was measured. L 0 is 4.9%, L 50 is 550%
Met. The curl cord, there was intended extends well with a small force, when the repeated 300% elongation, a short time deteriorates curling Resiliency is, moreover would be l 1 is increased, tearing of the sheath occurs . (Effect of the Invention) A practical curl cord obtained by curling a cord having a diameter of 1 mm or more or a cross-sectional area of 1 mm 2 or more before being curled, suitable for use. A curl cord with excellent properties and a short length when not stretched must have a vertical extension of the curled portion of 10% or less due to its own weight and a vertical extension of 200% or more under a load of 50 g.
