(Prior Art) Conventionally, a manual device for compressively connecting an electric wire and a sleeve is known. In this device, a pair of opposed electric wire supporting means for supporting the electric wire with a sleeve mounted thereon in a substantially horizontal direction is provided on a frame, and a hydraulic compressor is provided so as to be reciprocally movable between the pair of electric wire supporting means. Is manually movable via a chain or the like. For example, in a state where the end portions of two electric wires to be connected are inserted into the sleeve from both sides, both electric wires are held by the electric wire supporting means on both sides of the sleeve. The sleeve is arranged between a pair of dies of the hydraulic compressor, and the hydraulic compressor is repeatedly compressed, released and moved to perform compression for a predetermined length. As shown in FIG. 9, the hydraulic compressor used for this is a vertical type, and among the dies A and B facing each other vertically, the upper one is fixed and the lower one is B. Only the hydraulic pressure is used for compression.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In the above-described conventional wire connecting sleeve compression device, since the die is of the one-side driving type, the compression deformations of the sleeve due to the fixed die A and the moving die B are different from each other. The sleeve is warped, and not only is it difficult to correct it, but also the warp and its correction may impair the connection strength. Further, for example, when the electric wire and the sleeve set in the compression device are bent, the center between the dies of the hydraulic compressor does not coincide with the center of the electric wire and the sleeve, and the compression operation is performed in this state. When,
There is a phenomenon that the wire and sleeve are moved horizontally by being pressed by the die. On the other hand, conventionally, since the wire support means is fixed on the pedestal, when the wire and the sleeve are moved in the axial orthogonal method by the compression operation, this movement is performed by bending the wire between the wire support means. Is absorbed by. For this reason, there is a problem in that the electric wire supporting means is unduly stressed and is easily damaged, and if the distance between both electric wire supporting means is increased to avoid this stress, the device becomes large.

(Means for Solving the Problem) In the present invention, in order to solve the above-mentioned problem, a pair of electric wire supporting means 2 and 3 facing each other for supporting the electric wire W having the sleeve S mounted substantially horizontally on both sides, and a pair of these electric wire supporting means 2 and 3 are provided. In the sleeve compression connection device in which the hydraulic compressor 4 movable along the sleeve S while repeating the compression-release-movement operation between the electric wire supporting means 2 and 3, is provided on the pedestal 1, the hydraulic compressor 4 is provided. Is provided with a pair of hydraulic heads 12, 12, and these hydraulic heads 12 are arranged in a direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the hydraulic compressor 4 in order to compress the sleeve S horizontally from both sides in the direction orthogonal to its axis. A configuration is adopted in which at least one of the electric wire support means 2 is arranged so as to be swingable so as to allow displacement of the electric wire W in the direction orthogonal to the axial line due to compression, and to be urged so as to be able to return to the original position.

(Operation) In the compression device of the present invention, the electric wire W is supported by the electric wire supporting means 2 and 3 on both sides of the sleeve S while the end of the electric wire W is inserted into the sleeve S, and
Is disposed between a pair of dies 6, 6 of the hydraulic compressor 4, and is moved along the sleeve S in sequence while repeatedly performing compression-release-movement operation of the hydraulic compressor 4 to perform a predetermined length of compression operation. . The sleeve S is compressed by a pair of horizontal hydraulic heads 12,12.
Since the dies 6 are mounted on the both sides in the horizontal direction at the same time, the compressive deformations on both sides of the sleeve S become substantially equal, so that the sleeve S does not warp due to the compression. When the electric wire W and the sleeve S set in the compression device are bent, the center between the dies 6, 6 does not coincide with the center of the electric wire W and the sleeve S, and the compression operation is performed in this state. Then, a phenomenon occurs in which the wire W and the sleeve S are pushed by the die 6 and move in the horizontal direction. In such a case, the electric wire support means 2 swings to allow the movement of the electric wire W and the sleeve S, thereby reducing the stress applied to the electric wire support means 2.

During this time, the electric wire support means 2 moves and the electric wire support means 3 rocks with each compression, thereby allowing the electric wire W and the sleeve S to expand due to the compression. When the center between both dies 6 and the center of the electric wire W and the sleeve S do not coincide with each other during the compression operation, a phenomenon occurs in which the electric wire W and the sleeve S are moved by the die 6 in the horizontal direction. ,
The electric wire support means 2 swings in the direction orthogonal to the axis of the electric wire W against the spring force to allow the movement of the electric wire W and the sleeve S, thereby reducing the stress applied to the electric wire support means 2.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, in the present invention, a pair of opposing wire supporting means 2, 3 for supporting the wire W with the sleeve S mounted substantially horizontally on both sides, and the pair of wire supporting means 2, 3 In a sleeve compression connecting device in which a hydraulic compressor 4 movable along a sleeve S while repeating compression-release-movement operations between them is provided on the gantry 1, a pair of hydraulic heads are provided in the hydraulic compressor 4. 12, 12 are provided, and these hydraulic heads 12 are arranged in a direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the hydraulic compressor 4 in order to horizontally compress the sleeve S from both sides in the direction orthogonal to its axis, and at least one of them is provided. Wire support means 2
Is employed so as to be swingable so as to allow the displacement of the electric wire W in the direction orthogonal to the axial line due to compression and urged so as to be capable of returning to the original position. With the dice 6,6 attached to 12,12,
It is possible to simultaneously perform the horizontal deformation from both sides to make the compressive deformations on both sides of the sleeve S substantially equal to prevent the warpage of the sleeve S due to the compression. As a result, a highly reliable connection can be obtained, and the sleeve can be set in the compression device. When the compression operation is performed in a state in which the centers of the electric wire W and the sleeve S and the dies 6 and 6 that have been pressed do not coincide with each other, the electric wire W and the sleeve S are moved by the dies 6 in the horizontal direction. Even if such a phenomenon occurs, the electric wire support means 2 follows and swings, allowing the movement of the electric wire W and the sleeve S. Therefore, the stress applied to the electric wire supporting means 2 can be reduced, and since it is not necessary to allow the electric wire W to bend, the electric wire supporting means 2,
The effect that the device can be downsized by reducing the space between the three as much as possible.
