2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, solid detergents for the body have been required to have excellent foaming, no irritation, and a favorable usability. Generally used soaps, ie, alkali metal salts of higher fatty acids, are excellent in foaming, but are irritated by alkalis, and have a drawback that a large amount of soap scum adheres to the skin during rinsing and becomes tight.

In order to improve these properties, oils such as higher fatty acids, higher alcohols and hydrocarbons, humectants such as propylene glycol are blended, or anionic synthetic surfactants are blended. Attempts have been made to use them as mold cleaners. However, even when a higher fatty acid is added, the decrease in alkalinity is slight, and the feeling of tightness after use is almost unchanged. When an oil or a humectant is added, a desired effect cannot be obtained with a small amount of addition, and when added in a large amount, foaming is significantly inhibited. In addition, in the case of a combination type detergent mixed with an anionic synthetic surfactant, a desired effect cannot be obtained with a small amount of the compounding agent, and if a large amount is added, a certain effect can be obtained. There is a disadvantage that physical problems such as melting and cracking occur.

As described above, with conventional additives that have been used to improve the irritability and feeling of use of a solid detergent for body use, a desired effect cannot be obtained with a small amount, and foaming is significantly inhibited when added in a large amount. If it is solid or solid, there is a drawback that physical properties such as melt-down and cracking occur, and improvement has been desired.

Under these circumstances, the present inventors have conducted intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, and as a result, surprisingly, by adding an alkyl saccharide which is a nonionic surfactant, foaming and solid physical properties of a solid detergent are achieved. The present invention has been accomplished by finding a solid detergent which has no irritating effect, has little irritating effect, and has a moist feeling while keeping the finished feeling after use.

The alkyl saccharide-based surfactant used in the present invention is represented by the formula (I). In the formula, R 1 is a linear or branched alkyl group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group or an alkylphenyl group.
It is preferably a 10-18 linear or branched alkyl group (decyl group, lauryl group, myristyl group, etc.). M in the formula (I) is a number from 0 to 10, preferably from 0 to 3, and particularly preferably 0. The saccharide moiety (G in the formula (I)) which is a hydrophilic group has a reducing sugar having 5 to 6 carbon atoms as a basic unit. As this reducing sugar, glucose, galactose and fructose are preferred. Further, the average degree of polymerization S (n in the formula (I)) of the reducing sugar is 1.2 to 1.4. In addition, the polymerization degree S can be measured by a proton NMR method. When the average degree of polymerization exceeds 1.4, the shape retention when solidified is reduced, which is not preferable.

By blending the alkyl saccharide-based surfactant in the above-mentioned amount, the foaming and solid properties of the solid detergent are not adversely affected, there is almost no irritation, and a moist feeling on the skin can be imparted after use. When the amount of the alkyl saccharide-based surfactant is less than 1% by weight, the irritation and the feel after use are not satisfactory, and when the amount exceeds 60% by weight, there is almost no irritation. Is too moist and feels slimy, which is not desirable.
