The above-described conventional spring mounting device 14 includes (1) a large number of reinforcing ribs 40, a mounting surface 28, and a trunnion mounting hole outer peripheral wall.
The stress tends to concentrate on the joint with 34, and the wall thickness becomes unduly large and the weight increases in order to withstand large stress. (2) A large number of ribs 40 and hollow holes 36 are provided. Requires a large number of cores for casting,
There are problems such as an increase in casting cost.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The truck suspension spring mounting device according to the present invention comprises:
It was devised to achieve the above-mentioned object, and is provided with a corrugated curve formed only by a plurality of continuous gentle curved surfaces that limit the void of the closed cross section extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction and the vertical direction. An outer peripheral wall, a flange-shaped mounting surface formed on the top edge of the outer peripheral wall at the upper end opening of the void and mounted on the chassis frame, and formed on the lower side of the bottom of the void substantially parallel to the mounting surface and A hole wall that limits the trunnion mounting hole extending in the vehicle width direction, and is disposed in the above-mentioned space,
The outer peripheral walls that extend in the vehicle width direction and limit the empty space are connected to each other, and the upper surface of the hole wall that limits the trunnion mounting hole extends from a substantially central portion in the vehicle longitudinal direction to the mounting surface. A thin plate-shaped partition partitioning the place into two chambers in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body.

(Operation) According to the present invention, the mounting surface for mounting the spring mounting device to the chassis frame and the hole wall that limits the trunnion mounting hole limit the space of the closed cross section that extends in the vehicle longitudinal direction and the vertical direction. It is connected by an outer peripheral wall with a corrugated curve formed by only a number of continuous gentle curved surfaces and is virtually free of ribs, so stress is not concentrated and weight is reduced and durability is improved. Achieved. Also, since no rib is provided, the number of cores can be reduced during casting.

Further, since a thin plate-shaped partition wall is provided in the space to connect the outer peripheral walls extending in the vehicle width direction and facing each other and partitioning the space into two chambers in the vehicle longitudinal direction, When an abnormal force is applied to the spring mounting device, there is no risk of crushing due to cross-sectional deformation such that the outer peripheral walls facing each other approach each other, and therefore durability and reliability can be further improved. .

Embodiment An embodiment of the present invention will be specifically described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. (Note that members and portions substantially the same as or corresponding to those of the conventional configuration described with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant description is omitted.) In the spring mounting device 14, a flat mounting surface 28 for mounting the mounting device to the chassis frame is provided.
In particular, as clearly shown in the plan view of FIG. 2, it is formed like a flange on the top edge of the outer peripheral wall 44 having a corrugated curve formed by only a plurality of continuous gentle curved surfaces. The outer peripheral wall 44 limits a void 46 having a closed cross section that extends in the vehicle front-rear direction and vertically extends, and the bottom wall of the void 46 defines a part of the hole wall 34 that limits the trunnion mounting hole 32. Also serves as. The inside of the space 46 is divided into front and rear chambers 46a and 46b by a partition wall 48 extending in the vehicle width direction. More specifically, the partition wall 48 has a thin plate shape, extends in the vehicle width direction, and extends in the vehicle body longitudinal direction in an elongated manner.
The outer peripheral wall portions facing each other in the vehicle width direction are connected to each other, and extend vertically from the substantially central portion in the vehicle longitudinal direction of the upper surface of the hole wall 34 that limits the trunnion mounting hole to the mounting surface 28. It is formed. There is no reinforcing rib outside the outer peripheral wall 44, and thus the flange-shaped mounting surface 28 and the trunnion hole hole wall 34 that limit the upper end opening of the cavity 46 are exclusively connected by the outer peripheral wall 44, There are usually no reinforcing ribs.

The radius rod mounting portion 42 provided below the trunnion mounting hole 32 is divided in the front-rear direction by a central partition wall 50 extending in the vehicle width direction as best shown in the sectional view of FIG. The outer wall 54 surrounds the cavities 52a and 52b having a closed cross section, and the outer wall 54 is provided with two front and rear notches 56a and 56b into which the ends of the radius rods (not shown) are loosely inserted.

According to the above configuration, the flange-shaped mounting surface 28 mounted on the chassis frame and the hole wall 34 of the trunnion mounting hole 32 substantially parallel to the mounting surface 28 and extending in the vehicle width direction are closed. Since it is connected by an outer peripheral wall 44 which limits a space 46 in the cross section and is not provided with a conventional reinforcing rib on the outer side of the outer peripheral wall 44, a suspension spring, for example, a trunnion 16 for supporting the leaf spring device 20 of FIG. The compressive, shearing, bending, and torsional loads that enter the spring mounting device 14 are dispersed and transmitted to the bogie frame via the outer peripheral wall 44 and the mounting surface 28 without stress concentration. Further, since the partition wall 48 extending in the vehicle width direction and the vertical direction is provided in the space 46, when the bending or twisting load acts on the spring mounting device 14, the outer peripheral wall facing in the vehicle width direction. It can be surely prevented that the cross section is deformed such that the portion is close to the vehicle width direction and the cavity 46 is crushed. As a result, the thickness of the outer peripheral wall 44 and the partition wall 48 can be made sufficiently thin to reduce the weight, and durability and reliability can be ensured.

The longitudinal load mainly due to the wheel driving force introduced from the radius rod to the radius rod mounting portion 42 is also smoothly transmitted to the chassis frame through the outer peripheral wall 44 as described above. Also, the radius rod mounting portion 42 itself has an effect of reducing stress concentration by adopting a structure in which closed-section cavities 52a and 52b are formed inside the outer wall 54 and divided in the front-rear direction by the vehicle width direction partition 50. This has the advantage that the weight can be reduced and the durability and reliability can be improved.

Further, with the above-described configuration, the number of cores required for casting can be greatly reduced as compared with the conventional spring mounting device shown in FIG. 6, and the casting cost can be reduced. Since the number of man-hours required for finishing work such as removal is reduced, there is an advantage that the manufacturing cost can be reduced from this point as well.

(Advantages of the Invention) As described above, the suspension spring mounting device for a truck according to the present invention has only a plurality of continuous gentle curved surfaces that limit a void of a closed cross section that extends in the vehicle front-rear direction and the vertical direction. An outer peripheral wall having a corrugated bend formed by the above, a flange-shaped mounting surface formed on the top edge of the outer peripheral wall at the upper end opening of the void and attached to the chassis frame, and above the bottom of the void above. A hole wall that is formed substantially parallel to the mounting surface and that extends in the vehicle width direction and that limits the trunnion mounting hole; and an opposing outer periphery that is disposed in the space and that extends in the vehicle width direction and that limits the space. A thin plate shape that connects the walls and extends from a substantially central portion of the upper surface of the hole wall that limits the trunnion mounting hole in the vehicle front-rear direction to the mounting surface, and divides the same space into two chambers in the vehicle front-rear direction. With partition walls This is advantageous in that a suspension spring mounting device that is lightweight and has excellent durability and reliability can be provided at low cost.
