[0003] As the above-mentioned metal body, stainless steel material, steel material whose surface is plated, aluminum material and the like are used in consideration of corrosion resistance. In particular, these metal bodies are used outdoors for the above-mentioned applications. And, dust and the like are likely to adhere to fine uneven patterns such as hairlines and textures formed on the surface of these metal bodies to easily get into a wet state. Rust sometimes occurred on the uneven pattern.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, a paint made of a transparent acrylic silicone resin, acrylic resin, urethane resin, or the like is applied to the surface of the metal body on which the fine uneven pattern is formed, and the metal is coated. 2. Description of the Related Art It has been practiced to improve the corrosion resistance of a concavo-convex pattern by blocking the contact between a corrosive factor such as dust and acid rain and a metal body while making use of the decorativeness of the body surface. However, a coating film made of a paint such as the above acrylic resin or urethane resin deteriorates with the passage of time, and there is also a problem in stain resistance.

[0005] On the other hand, a coating film made of an acrylic silicone resin paint is used suitably for the above-mentioned applications because it is hardly deteriorated due to aging and has excellent stain resistance. Since the paint was applied in a state of relatively high viscosity such as 1500 to 5000 centipoise, the paint 3 was not filled well in the recesses of the uneven pattern 2 formed on the surface of the metal body 1 as shown in FIG. However, there was a disadvantage that the formed coating film was easily peeled off in a short period of time because it was only adhered to the surface.

As the metal body used in the present invention, generally, steel, aluminum, copper, zinc and other metals and their alloys are appropriately used, but stainless steel, galvanized steel and aluminum having excellent corrosion resistance. Etc. are particularly preferably used. Also, the shape of the metal body may be any shape such as a flat plate, a curved plate, a corrugated plate, or a column such as a prism or a cylinder. It may have an irregular cross section.

The fine uneven pattern formed on the surface of the metal body may be a non-decorative one such as a streak generated at the time of molding the metal body, but is generally a fine decoration such as a hairline or a grain. It is an uneven pattern having properties. The concavo-convex pattern may be formed on the entire surface of the metal body, or may be formed partially. In addition, the depth of the concave portion of the concavo-convex pattern may be small, but is preferably large.

[0012] The paint applied to the surface of the metal body contains a silicone compound as a main component, and the silicone compound is appropriately mixed with an antisettling agent, a modifying agent, a solvent and the like to form a paint. It is. As a silicone compound, generally, an organic silicon compound alone or an organic silicon compound having a cycloxane bond as a main chain such as a silicone resin and an alkyd, epoxy, acrylic, polyester,
A sol such as a silicone sol obtained by reaction with a modified organic substance such as phenol, melamine, urethane or the like is suitably used, and the coating material may be a room temperature curing type or a baking type. In general, a baking mold that can shorten the curing time is preferably used.

When the silicone sol is used, an acrylic-modified silicone sol obtained by condensation of an alkylol group, which is a functional group of a thermosetting acrylic resin, with an organosiloxanol or an organosiloxane is combined with a metal body. It has excellent adhesion, weather resistance, and chemical resistance and is preferably used because it is cured by heating.
It is also preferable that the content of the modified organic substance is smaller than that of the organic silicon polymer, because it is excellent in weather resistance and adhesion and the amount of gas generated during combustion is reduced.

The paint containing the silicone compound as a main component may be colored. However, if the paint is transparent, the surface of the metal body can be seen through even if the paint is applied to the surface of the metal body. This is preferable because the aesthetic appearance of the uneven pattern is not impaired.

When a paint containing the above-mentioned silicone compound as a main component is applied to a metal body, the viscosity of the paint is 1 to 10
The reason why the pressure is set to 00 centipoise is that when the viscosity is 1 centipoise or less, it is difficult to form a coating film because the silicone compound is minute, and when the viscosity is 1000 centipoise or more, the viscosity is high, so that the concave and convex portions formed on the surface of the metal body are uneven. Is not filled well. The preferred range of the viscosity is 2 to 100 centipoise.

In order to apply the coating material to the surface of the metal body, known methods such as spray coating, brush coating, and roller coating are applied, and the film thickness obtained by the coating is not particularly limited. It is about 5 to 50 μm.

According to the method for producing a coated metal body of the present invention, a paint containing a silicone compound as a main component is applied to the surface of the metal body,
This is a method for producing a coated metal body having excellent corrosion resistance and stain resistance due to excellent water repellency, weather resistance, chemical resistance and the like of a silicone compound which is a main component of the coating. When applying on the surface of the paint, the viscosity of the paint is 1
The viscosity of the metal body is low, such as ~ 1000 centipoise, and the paint coated on the surface of the metal body is filled in the recesses of the uneven pattern of the metal body. The cross-cut tape peeling test was performed by cutting 1 mm ×
This is a test to investigate the number of squares remaining without peeling when making 100 squares of 1 mm square and sticking a cellophane adhesive tape on the squares and forcibly peeling off the tape. The cross-cut tape peeling test is a test in which the cross-cut tape peeling test is performed after boiling for 10 hours. In Table 1, 100 pieces, which is the original number of squares, are used as the denominator, and all the pieces remain without peeling. The number of eyes is indicated by a numerator.

In the salt spray test, two diagonal lines intersecting each other by a cut which penetrates the coating film of the test piece with a sharp knife and reaches the surface of the metal body, are drawn, and the test piece is subjected to a test in which a salt water mist is generated. The test was conducted for 1000 hours, and the size of blisters formed on the coating film was examined to evaluate the adhesion between the coating film and the metal body. This is a salt spray test. X indicates that occurrence of rust and blistering was observed.
