度を大として、トナーがローラ面に強くくい込むことを
阻止するとともに耐久性を増大させ、内層の硬度を低く
して全体としての硬度を前記の範囲内に収めるようにし
た。

第3A図のものに比べてトナーを凝縮させにくいので像担
持体へのトナー固着防止により効果がある。

た場合、弾性ソリッド層を設けた場合に比べてローラ表
面の微小部分の硬度が小さくなるため、より一層転写ロ
ーラのクリーニング効果がある。
