Holding the desired shape and required elasticity to press the wound as needed to obtain a hemostatic effect, and to absorb and retain blood and other body fluids discharged from the wound sufficiently and adversely affect the adhesive strength of the adhesive. And the patch can be stably stuck to the skin surface without any external contamination.

The fiber assembly (4) is formed of fibers having excellent liquid absorbing and retaining properties, and has excellent water absorbing and liquid absorbing properties such as cotton and rayon cotton on the lower surface of a non-woven fabric (4a) having appropriate flexibility. A fibrous cotton layer (4b) and a lower surface thereof are overlaid with a thermoplastic plastic film (4c) such as polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, etc., and the outer surface thereof is covered with a covering cloth (4d). For example, the cloth has its end (14d) fixed to a required portion of the multilayer. In some cases, a nonwoven fabric similar to the nonwoven fabric (4a) is interposed between the fibrous cotton layer (4b) and the plastic film (4c). The covering cloth (4d) can be a coarse and thin knitted cloth or woven cloth. For example, it can be expanded and contracted on an ultra-thin cloth coarsely woven or knitted with a filament of recycled fiber such as nylon, polyester, other synthetic fibers or rayon. It is preferable that at least the upper and lower surfaces and one of the opposing side surfaces of the multilayer are continuously covered, and both ends (14d) are fixed on the laminated plastic film by bonding, fusion, or the like. . The nonwoven fabric, the fiber cotton layer, and the plastic film can be sewn relatively loosely with a sewing machine or the like (14). The shape can be stably maintained without the occurrence of the like, and the liquid absorption retention property is further improved.

In order not to impair the flexibility, elasticity, air permeability, liquid permeability and the like of the thin layer itself, the edge portion and other appropriate places are adhered to each other with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, an adhesive or the like, and are laminated to a predetermined layer thickness. The shape of this material can be arbitrarily selected, such as a columnar shape, a prismatic shape, etc., and the size thereof is appropriately selected and formed according to the purpose.
In many cases, it may be formed into a prism having a thickness (height) of about 1.5 to 5 mm. The material formed as described above does not lose its shape, has appropriate elasticity, and can exert a compression effect when applied to a wound dressing. This material can be fixed to the required surface of the fiber assembly by spotting or the like with an adhesive or an adhesive.

In addition to using a continuous piece of release paper, an end on a pad is used to facilitate the peeling and the application of the adhesive after peeling. It can also be used by dividing it into two parts so that the parts overlap.

When applied to the skin through the skin, the wound is appropriately compressed to suppress the outflow of blood etc., gradually solidify and stop bleeding, and the blood etc. flowing out at the initial stage of application of the patch passes through the material and the fiber aggregate In this case, the material does not store blood and other discharges, so it does not deform due to softening or collapse, and can maintain a stable compressed state. It does not adversely affect the adhesive by flowing out of the adhesive, and does not leak dirt on the outer side of the attached patch. In addition to hemostasis after the artificial dialysis, injection, wound of the injection needle after blood collection It is also useful for hemostasis of cuts and the like.
