The stains in the bathroom are different from those of other dwellings and mainly consist of metal soaps, especially calcium salts of fatty acids. Therefore, neutral detergents and alkaline detergents cannot quickly and satisfactorily remove stains. An acid detergent is effective for removing this dirt, but it has the drawback of damaging materials with poor acid resistance such as marble baths and metals.

A mildly acidic or neutral detergent containing a surfactant, a water-soluble solvent and a chelating agent is effective for cleaning the bathroom stain without adversely affecting the material in the bathroom. Examples of such a cleaning agent include, for example, JP-A-53-357.
No. 10 publication describes an anionic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, an alkylene glycol alkyl ether-based solvent, and citric acid, a chelating agent such as ethylenediaminetetraacetate, and a pH of 4.5 to 7.5 for a bathroom cleaner. I have. Further, as the solvent used for the cleaning agent, in addition to various alkylene glycol alkyl ether-based solvents, polypropylene glycol is disclosed in JP-A-57-198, and terpene-based hydrocarbons are disclosed in JP-A-61-12798.
JP-A-62-257995 describes that 1,3-dialkyl-2-imidazolidinone is effective. As the surfactant, an anionic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, or a mixture thereof is used.
