して貼着されるラベルの改良に関する。

テル等の樹脂フィルムをベースフィルムとしてその表面

る。一般的に多く使用される貼着用のラベルは、図3に
示すようにポリエステル等のベースフィルム3の表面に
印刷部が設けられ、裏面に顔料やアルミ蒸着等の着色層
4と粘着剤層5が形成されてラベル層1が構成され、更
に剥離フィルム2が設けらてラベル用のマスターロール
となる。ラベル7`は図4に示すように印刷領域を含む
枠取りで、少なくともラベル層1を貫通した状態で型抜
きされ、ラベル層の抜き残材8が剥離され、剥離フィル
ム2にラベル7`が配列された状態で巻き取られる。ラ
ベル7`は剥離フィルム2から剥がされて図2に示すよ
うに筆記具11等の軸面に手で貼着されるが、自動組立
て機の工程で図6のように剥離フィルム2を屈曲させた
状態に巻き取り、ラベル7`の端部を浮き上がらせた状
態にして機械的に取り出して貼着する方法が取られる。
ベースフィルムの材質により適宜厚さが選定されるが、
例えばポリエステル製のベースフィルムの場合では通常
ラベル層1は厚さが10μから100μ程度であるが、
25μ以下だと浮き上がり状態が不完全となって自動機
械による貼着に問題が生じる。又、ラベル層1が厚い場
合には曲率の大きい曲面に貼った時に粘着力がラベルの
復元力にまけて図2に示すようにラベルの端部が剥がれ
る問題がある。そこで、通常は被着物の材質に適合した
粘着材の選定、ラベル層の厚さ等が設定されるが、被着
面の曲率が大きく、接着性が悪い材質に設定せざるを得
ない場合も多く、又、自動機械による貼着を必要とする
条件に適合しない問題がある。又、一時的に貼着されて
も高温、多湿の経時状態で剥がれ易い問題が存在する。
