[Problem to be solved by the invention] In the conventional technology,
In the case of a sheet-like map, it was possible to check an arbitrary position and follow the road from a wide range, but when opening it, take a place,
It was difficult to use on rainy days or windy days. In contrast, an atlas can be used without taking up a large area, but when checking an arbitrary position or following a road from a wide area, it must be checked against the index provided on the back cover, When turning a page to change a scene, the divided positions may be shifted, and it is often lost in communication between the scenes.

[Function] The booklet form does not take up space when used. Even if the scene changes by aligning the map surface to the east, west, north and south, the position does not shift. By providing the alignment, it is possible to communicate not only in the east-west direction but also in the north-south direction on the map surface. By providing the adjacent area, communication between scenes can be easily grasped, and by providing a guide frame, the display range of the next page to be communicated can be known.

The present invention is provided as a booklet-shaped atlas. A map of the entire desired display area is provided as a section divided into a horizontally long grid, and a section including east, west, north and south is provided as a map surface 1 at the center of two pages. The communication between the map surfaces 1 is provided in a state where each page is turned left and right so as to be connected in the east-west direction. Alignment 2 is provided for the purpose of carrying out communication between map surfaces 1 in the north-south direction.
As a method of realizing this, when the pages are turned to the left and right at the point where they are connected in the east-west direction, the alignment 2 provided at the outer end of each page is continuously shifted in either the upper or lower direction. To go. For example, the leftmost page of the atlas is located at the northwest (upper left) end when viewed from the map of the entire desired display area. At this time, the alignment 2 is at the top position, and the scene on the map surface 1 is As you move east, the position of alignment 2 moves continuously down. When the user arrives at the east end ward screen, the page to the right of the east end becomes the west end section, and is displayed while being moved one section to the south from the map surface 1 sectioned at the northwest end, and the registration is performed. Position 2 is at the top. That is, if the page is turned left and right, the map surface 1 is connected in the east-west direction, and if the location 2 of the same height is opened right and left, the map surface 1 can be connected to the north and south.
The pages of the atlas may be turned upside down, and the continuous movement display of the alignment 2 may be reversed. In a case where the peninsula is displayed by opening a certain space between the alignment 2 of the next page and marking the alignment 2 in the alignment 2 which is vertically continuous, and using this blank portion. For example, it may be used when protruding from a rectangular section and protruding.

In the process of following the road, a guide frame 3 is provided around the map surface 1 as a method of displaying from which position the next page is reached. Also, in order to know from which position the contact from the previous scene starts, if the road is meandering at the end of the ward screen, or if the location corresponding to the corner of the ward screen is an arbitrary position, from the map surface 1 The adjacent area 4 is provided outside the reference frame 3 so that the protrusion of the desired display surface can be displayed.

[Effect of the Invention] Since the present invention is a booklet-shaped atlas, it can be used without taking up a large space. Since the map surface 1 is divided in a state where the east, west, south and north are aligned, even if the page is turned and the scene is changed, the positions of the map surfaces 1 are not shifted and the two can communicate smoothly. By providing the alignment 2, it is possible to switch the scene moving in the east-west direction to the north-south direction. The provision of the reference frame 3 allows the user to know the display range of the next page when the user moves near the edge of the page in the process of following the road. By providing the adjacent area 4, a portion protruding from the map surface 1 can be displayed, and if it is within a limited range, it is not necessary to turn another page. Map surface 1 is a partial display that is divided into east-west, north-south and north-south directions like an eye of the base. In the east-west direction, it is connected by adjacent pages, and in the north-south direction, it is possible to contact simply by adjusting the alignment 2 Thus, an arbitrary position can be known from a wide range depending on the position of the opened page or the position of alignment 2.

From the above description, the present invention can be used without taking a place, it is easy to grasp the communication between the map surfaces 1, and it is possible to follow the road without getting confused even if it does not collate with the index. Since it is easy to confirm, it is possible to prove that the device has solved the problem.

In the above-described embodiment of the present invention, the bookbinding shape is used, but in other embodiments, the booklet is provided by folding in a bellows shape. This bellows folding has the same effect as the bound book case, and the map planes 11 are continuous scenes. The map planes 11 can be partially widened and partially checked for an arbitrary position from a wide range. or,
This method can be used when connecting maps issued by the Geographical Survey Institute using sticking tape, and as a method of folding this, besides folding horizontally along the fold of the bellows,
Any page may be opened and folded vertically. By folding vertically, any page can be opened immediately without putting a bookmark or the like.
