2. Description of the Related Art Recently, as shown in FIGS. 6 (A) and 6 (B), there is provided a round conductor tape wire 3 in which round conductors 2 are juxtaposed at a predetermined interval on the upper surface of a flexible insulating sheet 1. FIG. ing. The round conductor 2 has the advantage that the diameter D can be set to about 0.1 mm to achieve ultra-thin wires, and the pitch P can be set to about 0.8 mm to achieve a narrow pitch. is there.
For this reason, the round conductor tape wire 3 is suitably used as an internal wiring material for which home appliances such as VTRs and video cameras, OA equipment and the like are desired to be light and thin.

[0003] As this kind of flexible cable,
In addition to the above round conductor tape wire, flexible flat cable (FFC), flexible printed cable
A circuit (FPC) is provided. However,
In the FFC, since the conductor is extruded flat, the conductor cannot be bent, and the conductor can form only a straight line parallel wiring. On the other hand, FPCs can be freely wired because they are manufactured by using a mold, but there are problems that the manufacturing of the mold is costly and that the shape of the mold is difficult to change. On the other hand, the round conductor tape wire has an advantage that it can be bent and the wiring can be easily changed.

When the round conductor tape wire 3 shown in FIG. 5 is used as the flexible cable 9,
As described above, there is an advantage that the bending can be performed and the wiring can be easily changed, but there is a problem that a connection failure easily occurs between the terminal 7 and the round conductor 2.
That is, although the round conductor 2 and the contact piece 7a of the terminal 7 are in point contact, the diameter of the round conductor 2 is extremely small as described above, and the width of the contact portion of the contact piece 7a with the round conductor 2 is
Since the thickness of the terminal 7 remains the same, the contact area of the round conductor 2 is small. For this reason, if there is any deviation in the pitch between the juxtaposed round conductors 2 and the terminals 7 or if the pitch varies, a connection failure will occur.

The slider 12 is inserted into the housing 10 from the Y side opposite to the terminal insertion side.
At both ends in the longitudinal direction of the substrate portion 27, holding portions 29 for the housing 10 are integrally provided. The holding portion 29 is locked and held at a temporary locking position and a full locking position with respect to mounting portions 30 formed on both longitudinal side surfaces of the housing 10. The pressing portion 28 is formed of a long thin plate, and is inserted between the contact piece 20 of each terminal 11 and the positioning piece 21 from the opening side of the terminal receiving hole 15 communicating in the horizontal direction,
The round conductor tape electric wire 3 is pressed on the upper surface side to make the round conductor 2 elastically contact the contact portion 34 of the contact piece 20.

Then, the slide member 12 is pushed to the final locking position. By this pushing, the linear upper surface of the pressing portion 28 of the slide member 12 is moved to the contact portion 34 at the tip of the contact piece 20.
And the round conductor 2 of the round conductor tape wire 3
Is brought into elastic contact with the contact portion 34. At this time, Terminal 1
As described above, the first contact portion 34 is formed by alternately stamping out the lower portion of the contact piece 20 and has a surface area nearly double the plate thickness, so that the contact surface with the round conductor 2 is increased. Therefore, even if the position of the round conductor 2 is shifted by about 0.2 to 0.5 mm, the round conductor 2 can be brought into contact with the contact portion 34.

As is apparent from the above description, in the connector according to the present invention, projections are formed by alternately projecting the lower end of the contact piece of the terminal, and the projection forms a large-area contact portion. Therefore, even if the position of the round conductor of the round conductor tape wire is slightly displaced, it can be brought into contact.

The contact piece and the positioning piece project substantially parallel to each other in the same direction from the connecting piece, and the lower end of the contact piece is alternately punched out in the width direction to form a projection.
A terminal provided with a contact portion having a surface area about twice as large as the plate thickness composed of these projections, and a large number of terminal receiving holes penetrating in the axial direction and being inserted into the terminal from one end opening thereof, Each terminal receiving hole is vertically divided by an intermediate wall into a contact piece hole into which the contact piece of the terminal is inserted and a positioning piece hole into which the positioning piece is inserted, and the contact piece hole is wide enough to allow the contact portion to be inserted. On the other hand, an insulating housing having a narrow positioning piece hole, an ultra-fine wire of about 0.1 mm is juxtaposed at a pitch of about 0.8 mm, and a contact piece of the terminal from the other end opening of the terminal receiving hole. A round conductor tape wire inserted between the positioning piece, and a round conductor tape wire inserted between the round conductor tape wire and the positioning piece, presses the round conductor tape wire, and places the ultrafine wire at the center of the contact portion of the contact piece. Connector and a slide member to elastically contact with the location.
