トが必要不可欠になりつゝある。
(Prior art) For long hours of driving, a footrest on which the left foot rests is becoming indispensable.

従来のフットレストは剛体で構成されていた。 Conventional footrests have been made of rigid bodies.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In the above-mentioned conventional technology, when a vehicle collision occurs, the footrest does not deform, so that the left foot is overloaded, damaging the foot, and too weak even if it is made of an elastic material. There is a problem that the footrest is scattered and is dangerous, and it is difficult to provide elasticity to effectively absorb the impact at the time of a collision.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention aims to solve the above-described problems, and the front and rear portions of a sheet metal are bent inward in a synthetic resin footrest body having a tread surface formed on an upper surface. The energy absorber which is bent and has elasticity in the vertical direction is provided.

(Example) Reference numeral 1 denotes an underframe-shaped footrest main body formed by injection molding of a synthetic resin. An upper surface 1a on which a foot is placed is formed in a diagonal lattice shape to prevent slipping, and flange portions 1b and 1c are integrated in front and rear. Is formed. Reference numeral 2 denotes an energy absorber made of sheet metal provided in the footrest main body 1. The front and rear portions are bent inwardly into bent portions 2b and 2c, and the central portion 2a is formed into a flat surface. The bent portions 2b and 2c are integrally formed with flange portions 2b 'and 2c', and are provided with a plurality of punched holes 2d. The flange portions 2b 'and 2c' of the footrest main body 1 are overlapped and fixed together with screws 3 on the floor 4 of the cab.

At the time of collision, as shown in FIG. 5, the footrest main body 1 is tilted forward, and the energy absorber 2 inside is also folded back and forth.
b and 2c also deform and absorb the energy of the collision.

(Effect) According to the present invention, the front and rear portions of the sheet metal are bent inwardly in a V-shape inside a synthetic resin footrest body having a tread surface on the upper surface, and an energy absorber having elasticity in the vertical direction is arranged. Since it is provided, an appropriate load is applied to the foot in the event of a collision, so that the foot is not damaged and safety is ensured.
