2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an annular industrial material having a relatively large shape and requiring protection of the surface of an inner peripheral portion, for example, a wire such as a rope or a wire wound in a coil shape. The following method is used as a method for packaging a steel material such as an iron plate or the like in a roll or an annular material such as an industrial tube material. For example, first having a diameter expansion,
A protective material wound in a tubular shape is inserted into the inner peripheral portion, and the inner peripheral portion is covered by expanding the diameter. Next, a so-called gaiter-wrapped packaging, in which a belt-shaped paper or film is spirally wound around an annular object by a wrapping machine, that is, repeatedly wound and wrapped from an inner peripheral portion to an outer peripheral portion and from the outer peripheral portion to the inner peripheral portion. Generally done. Alternatively, after the outer peripheral portion of the annular material is wrapped in a headband shape with a packaging material such as paper or film having a width longer than the length of the annular material in the longitudinal direction, both ends of the packaging material are placed on both sides of the annular material. Gathering packaging is also performed in which the inner peripheral portion is folded along an inner peripheral portion and is fixed with an adhesive tape or the like.

[0003] In these packaging methods, the shape of the circular object to be packaged is substantially the same as the shape of the package after packaging, so that the contents can be determined from the external shape, and the shape of the circular object can be improved. Since the inner peripheral portion is hollow, there is an advantage that workability such as carrying around is good.

However, in the case of so-called gaiter-wrapped packaging using the above-mentioned wrapping machine, the progress of the automatic packaging method has not been seen in the progress of rationalization and automation of packaging technology in general, and the packaging has not been performed manually. Or it is currently semi-automatic. The reason that automation of packaging does not progress in this way is that in the case of gaiter-wrapped packaging, when the process of spirally winding a strip of paper or film while partially overlapping it is automated, the outer peripheral portion of the article to be packaged is not wrapped. Due to insufficient adhesion between the object to be packaged and the packaging material, the overlapping portion may be displaced, and the winding of the packaging material may be loosened, resulting in impaired packaging. In this case, it is not possible to completely prevent foreign matter such as dirt and dust from entering the package, and there is a possibility that a part of the packaged object may be exposed. In addition, since the rolled paper or film is wound while passing through the inner peripheral portion of the annular material, the dimensions of the roll of paper or film are limited. Has to be performed frequently.

[0005] In gathering packaging, when both ends of a packaging material are folded into an inner peripheral portion along both end surfaces of a ring-shaped material, and this is fixed with an adhesive tape or the like, a packaging machine for folding is very complicated. It will be. Further, it is necessary to control the width of the packaging material with high precision in accordance with the size of the article to be packaged, and it is difficult to handle the adhesive tape, thereby reducing workability. As for the gathering packaging, automatic packaging has not progressed, and the packaging is currently manual or semi-automatic.

As the shrinkable packaging material used here,
There are a heat-shrinkable film, a heat-shrinkable cloth, a heat-shrinkable nonwoven fabric, and the like. Preferably, a material that is easily heat-sealed and has low-temperature shrinkage, and more preferably a uniaxially shrinkable material is used. The heat shrinkable material preferably has a shrinkage ratio of 30 to 70%. When the annular material is heavy, it is preferable to use a cloth or a nonwoven fabric in consideration of mechanical properties such as tensile strength and tear strength after packaging. As a material meeting these conditions, for example, a uniaxially stretched film of linear polyethylene having short-chain branches, or a flat yarn cross-woven cloth obtained by stretching a mixture of linear polyethylene having short chain branches and polypropylene, or the like Or a laminate of these. When the outer periphery of the annular object is surrounded by the shrinkable wrapping material, the shrinkable wrapping material is used in such a direction that one of its shrinking directions coincides with the circumferential direction of the outer diameter of the annular object.

First, the first step will be described with reference to FIG. As shown in FIG. 1 (a), the non-shrinkable packaging material 1 is used by cutting a material wound in a roll shape into a length similar to the length of the annular material 2 in the longitudinal direction. In addition, the width of the non-shrinkable packaging material 1 is set to be substantially the same as the maximum value of the inner circumference of the annular material 2. Next, as shown in FIG. 1B, the cut sheet 1 is automatically or manually rolled in the width direction to have a cylindrical shape slightly smaller than the shape of the inner peripheral portion 3 of the annular member 2. Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 1 (c), the non-shrinkable packaging material 1 rounded into a cylindrical shape is inserted into the inner peripheral portion 3 of the annular member 2, and the repulsive force due to the elasticity of the non-shrinkable packaging material 1 is reduced. Using the inner circumference part 3
The inner peripheral portion 3 is covered along the wall surface of. At this time, when there is a difference in the inner diameter of the annular member 2 and the hollow portion is tapered, the overlapping portion of the non-shrinkable packaging material 1 is provided at the small diameter portion.

Next, the third step will be described with reference to FIG. As shown in FIG. 3A, the shrinkable wrapping material 6 used is wound around two rolls 7, 7, and the shrinkable wrapping material 6 is pulled out from each of the rolls 7, 7. By heat-sealing each other at a position near the middle of the rolls 7, 7, a flat packaging surface 8 made of the shrinkable packaging material 6 is formed. The annular member 2 is fixed to a moving body (not shown) so that its axis is parallel to the two rolls 7, 7, and is installed such that its outer peripheral surface faces the packaging surface 8. A roll 7 around which the shrinkable packaging material 6 is wound,
Numerals 7 are arranged at an interval larger than the outer diameter of the annular object 2 in the radial direction. In the state shown in FIG. 3A, the annular object 2 locked by the moving body (not shown) is moved in the direction of the packaging surface 8 made of the shrinkable packaging material 6. By this movement, as shown in FIG. 3B, about half of the outer peripheral surface of the annular object 2 is covered with the packaging surface 8. Further, FIG.
As shown in (c), the annular member 2 is moved, and immediately after the annular member 2 completely passes between the two rolls 7, 7, the rolls 7, 7 move in the traveling direction of the annular member 2. When the hot plates 9, 9 appearing from the front approach each other, the shrinkable wrapping material 6 is formed in a cylindrical shape along the outer periphery of the annular member 2, and the hot plates 9, 9 are formed.
This is heat-sealed and heat-cut by pressure welding of No. 9. In this way, the annular material 2 whose outer periphery is surrounded by the tubular shrinkable packaging material (cylindrical packaging material) 6 is obtained.

Finally, as a fifth step, as shown in FIGS. 5A and 5B, the intermediate package 1 obtained in the fourth step is obtained.
The sleeve opening 10 of the non-shrinkable packaging material 1 covering the inner peripheral portion 3 and both ends of the shrinkable packaging material 6 by applying pressure in the direction of the inner wall by folding the sleeve opening 10 into the inner peripheral portion 3 of the annular body 2. Both ends are bonded via the hot melt adhesive 4 melted in the previous step. The folding, pressurizing, and bonding of the sleeve opening 10 can be performed using, for example, a sealer 13 as shown in FIG. FIG. 5 (b)
FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB of FIG. The sealer 13 is roughly composed of a plurality of pressure members 14, 14,... Having a rotatable roller at the tip, and is rotatable about the center axis of the intermediate package 12 as a rotation axis. First, the pressurizing members 14 are inserted from both ends of the intermediate package 12 into the hollow portion of the inner peripheral portion 3 of the intermediate package 12 while folding the sleeve opening 10 with the roller at the tip. Next, the end of the shrinkable packaging material 6 following the sleeve opening 10 is attached to the intermediate package 1.
2 from the center to the outer periphery. Further, the sealer 13 is rotated to move the pressing members 14, 14,... Along the end of the inner peripheral portion 3 while applying pressure, thereby bonding the sleeve opening. Thus, the intermediate package 1
The non-shrinkable packaging material 1 covering the inner wall and the shrinkable packaging material 6 covering the outer periphery and the end face are adhered at both ends of the inner peripheral portion 3 of the inner peripheral portion 3 of the inner peripheral portion 3 to obtain the annular package of the present invention.

Such a method of packaging a ring-shaped article involves packaging by mounting a packaging material, shrinking a shrinkable packaging material, and adhering the packaging material. The process is simple, and packaging is easy to automate. Further, the shrink wrapping material can be continuously mounted, and the process can be easily made into a line. Further, unlike the packaging form in which a strip of paper or film is stacked, the obtained package is integrally packaged, so that the contents are not exposed.

(Embodiment) As an embodiment of the present invention, a steel plate having a thickness of 0.3 mm is wound in a coil shape and has an outer diameter of 600 mm.
The annular body 2 having an inner diameter of 400 mm and a length of 600 mm in the longitudinal direction was packed. First, a low-density polyethylene sheet 1 having a density of 0.920, a thickness of 0.3 mm, and a width of 600 mm wound into a roll was used as the non-shrinkable packaging material 1.
It was cut to 0 mm. The cut low-density polyethylene sheet 1 was rounded in the width direction and inserted into the inner peripheral portion 3 of the annular member 2 to cover the inner wall. Next, hot melt adhesive 4
And a hot melt adhesive based on an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin was applied to both ends of the non-shrinkable packaging material 1 by a spraying machine 5. Next, the shrinkable packaging material 6 was mounted. As the shrinkable wrapping material 6, a heat-shrinkable laminate obtained by extrusion-laminating low-density polyethylene as an intermediate adhesive layer and laminating a shrinkable flat yarn interwoven cloth formed from a mixture of linear low-density polyethylene, short-chain branched low-density polyethylene and polypropylene. Shrinkable laminated cloth (hereinafter, referred to as
Cloth 6) was used. The contraction rate of this cloth 6 is 3
At 5%, the width was 1100 mm. The annular object 2 and the cloth 6 are arranged at the positions shown in FIG. 3A, the annular object 2 is moved by a conveyor, and the cloth 6 is covered along the outer peripheral surface thereof.
The cloth 6 is heat-sealed as shown in FIG.
The ring was surrounded. This was introduced into a heating furnace at 200 ° C,
The cloth 6 was allowed to pass for 15 seconds, and the cloth 6 was shrunk to perform sleeve packaging. The intermediate package 12 obtained here had a sleeve opening smaller than its inner diameter. Immediately after passing through the heating furnace, the sleeve opening 10 of the intermediate package 12 was folded by the sealer 13 along the inner peripheral end of the annular member 2 and pressurized to bond the low-density polyethylene sheet 1 to the low-density polyethylene sheet. The thus obtained annular package was tightly packaged along the outer shape of the annular product 2.

As described above, according to the method of the present invention ,
The obtained annular package is a tight packaging form in which the packaging material is closely adhered to the packaged object (annular body), and the shape of the packaged object can be determined from the appearance. When a transparent packaging material is used, it is preferable in terms of appearance as a product, which leads to improvement of the product image. Or, if you wrap an annular object that is a coil of a thick wire such as an electric wire, open the inner peripheral part when using it, take out only the required amount of electric wire, and cover the remaining electric wire with the wrapping material. It has convenience. Further, since the outer peripheral portion and the inner peripheral portion are respectively covered with different packaging materials, and these packaging materials are adhered at the inner peripheral portion, even if the length of the annular member is relatively long, the inner peripheral portion is not covered with the inner peripheral portion. And the outer peripheral part can be tightly and easily packaged. Further, since the tubular packaging material covering the outer peripheral portion and the non-shrinkable packaging material covering the inner peripheral portion are bonded with a hot melt adhesive, wrinkles or the like may occur between the tubular packaging material and the non-shrinkable packaging material. Even where there is a gap, the hot melt adhesive is adhered in such a state that it enters the gap, and the adhesiveness and sealing property are excellent.

Further, the packaging method of the present invention can simplify the packaging process and easily automate the packaging of the annular material. As a result, not only labor and time can be reduced, but also packaging materials and distribution costs can be reduced. This can greatly contribute to a reduction in the overall cost. Further, since the packaging can be performed almost completely, foreign substances such as dust and dirt from the outside can be prevented from entering, and the occurrence of product defects such as scratches on the contents can be prevented.
