However, in the above-mentioned technical example, the dimensions of the joining member on the inlet side and the outlet side are the same and the thickness is uniform in the longitudinal direction, while the gap at the corner portion is different. Since there was variation, the joining member was large and could not be inserted, or conversely, a large gap occurred between the corner gap and the joining member, and good welding could not be performed .
And, furthermore, hold the joint member while welding
It is difficult and difficult to maintain,
While adjusting to trial and error the position in front of the square tubular body Te this holding also assembled there is a disadvantage must Ne assembly.

Next, FIG. 7 shows an apparatus for assembling a spent fuel storage rack. The rectangular cylinder 1 is transported and mounted on the rectangular cylinder supply device 5 by a crane or the like. The mounted rectangular cylinder 1 is manually moved to a position where the rectangular cylinder 1 is easily gripped. The gantry 6 is for mounting the trolleys 7 and 8, and the trolleys 7 and 8 are mounted on the gantry 6 and mounted to be movable back and forth. It is mounted so that it can be moved. The beams 11 and 12 are mounted on carts 9 and 10 so as to be vertically movable. Further, the grips 13 and 14 are attached to the lower ends of the beams 11 and 12, respectively, so that a rectangular cylinder can be gripped by a cylinder (not shown). The rectangular cylinder 1 is gripped by the grips 13 and 14. It is transported from the position to the assembly position.

FIG. 8 shows a case where a joining member 15 having a wedge-like shape on the insertion side and a curved shape having a curvature of a corner of the rectangular cylinder 1 on the opposite side is used. In this case, the joining member 15 is used. There is an advantage that the gap between the metal and the rectangular cylinder 1 can be reduced, and the outflow of the deposited metal can be prevented. FIG. 9 shows a case where the backing metal 16 is applied to a gap formed between the pre-assembled rectangular cylindrical body 1 and the assembled rectangular cylindrical body 1, and the rectangular cylindrical body 1 and the backing metal 1 are placed.
6 shows a state in which the welding metal 17 is filled in the recess formed by 6 to join the rectangular cylinders 1 to each other. In this case, the backing metal acts to position the rectangular cylinder, so that the two rectangular cylinders 1 can be joined while maintaining an appropriate positional relationship without using the joining member 2, so that the joining member is unnecessary. Therefore, there is an advantage that the manufacturing cost is reduced accordingly.

As described above, according to the present invention, the joining member mounted to fill the gap between the adjacent corners of the rectangular cylinder has a wedge-shaped insertion side, so It is easy to insert into the gap of the part, and even if the amount of the gap fluctuates, the insertion amount of the joining member can be handled by making it deeper or shallower, and the opposite side is outside the corner of the square cylindrical body Since it is formed in a curved shape similar to a curved surface, the gap between the joining member and the rectangular cylinder is small, and it is possible to prevent the weld metal from flowing out. The joining of the members by welding is very easy. Furthermore, because the insertion side is wedge-shaped, when it is inserted into the gap at the corner,
It is not necessary to hold it by a special method until it is supported between the wall surfaces of the rectangular cylinder and welded, and the retention is easy, and the welding work between the rectangular cylinder and the joining member is easy. The storage rack can be efficiently and accurately assembled.
