Description of the Related Art For example, when slab rolling is performed, depending on the type of steel, the steel slab is slowly cooled by slow cooling pits so that the steel slab does not crack during cooling after rolling. Slow cooling pits generally do not use a burner, but simply pile up materials and cover them so that the retained heat of steel does not escape, but recently, in order to precisely control the slow cooling rate,
Some with burners are now available. In a slow cooling pit provided with a conventional burner, as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG.
And the burner 12 is attached to the side wall thereof, and the material receiving table 13 is arranged in the pit 10, the slow-cooled material W such as the slab rolled material is placed thereon, and the material above and below the pit 10 is taken in and out by the lid 14. The mouth 16 is closed, and the burner 12 is burned in this state, and the cooled gas W is gradually cooled by the combustion gas F while preventing a sudden temperature drop. The used combustion gas is discharged from the waste gas hole 15 of the pit cover 14 to the outside of the pit 10.

を課題とする。However, in the conventional slow cooling pit, the temperature of the both ends of the slow cooling material W near the burner 12 and the upper slow cooling material W where the combustion gas F easily flows is high, and the combustion gas F The temperature of the lower cooled material W, which is difficult to flow, is lowered, and temperature unevenness occurs in some places,
Uniform slow cooling was difficult. Further, since the burner 12 having a small capacity is used, when the material to be gradually cooled W is a small amount, the combustion gas F comes out of the waste gas hole 15 without hitting the material to be cooled W, and the predetermined cooling is performed. In this case, since no effect is obtained, in this case, it is necessary to simultaneously load a hot steel material that does not need to be gradually cooled and wrap the slowly cooled material. The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a slow cooling pit which can make the temperature distribution of the slow cooling material uniform and can perform predetermined slow cooling even when the slow cooling material is small.

The gist is that a burner is provided in the combustion chamber so as to inject the combustion gas in a horizontal direction, and a guide wall for dispersing and guiding the combustion gas flow is provided in the combustion chamber.

It prevents a rapid temperature drop of the bottom layer material and rises around the stack of stacked materials, preventing a rapid temperature drop of the material on the outermost side and both ends of the material.

In the figure, a slow cooling pit 1 is composed of a pit body 2 and a lid 3, which is installed in a larger pit dug on the floor. There is a space around the cooling pit 1 through which workers can pass. The slow cooling pit main body 2 is formed in a box shape having an upper surface opened using a refractory material, and the upper surface opening of the pit main body 2 is an entrance for the slow cooling material W. A combustion chamber 4 is formed at the bottom of the pit main body 2 with the lower surface of the material assembly as a ceiling, and a burner 5 is attached to the side wall of the combustion chamber 4 so as to face the combustion gas F from the burner 5. It is designed to be sprayed horizontally. A plurality of guide walls 6 extending in the width direction are provided in the combustion chamber 4 at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction and are divided into small combustion chambers 4a. Each guide wall 6 has a combustion gas passage 6a formed therein. Thus, the combustion gas F is uniformly distributed and guided in each of the small combustion chambers 4a. A rod-shaped material receiving table 7 is placed on each of the guide walls 6, and the material to be cooled W is placed on the material receiving table 7. Spacers 8 for forming a space as a combustion gas rising passage between the inner surface of the pit and the material are provided on the inner surface of the pit at both ends of the material receiving table 7. The lid 3 is lined with a refractory material, and has a waste gas hole 9 formed therein.

When the burner 5 burns, the combustion gas F of the burner 5 is dispersed by the guide wall 6 below the slow cooling material W. While flowing through each small combustion chamber 4a sequentially and uniformly through the combustion gas passage 6a, the combustion gas rising passage between the pit inner surface of each small combustion chamber 4a and the material, and both ends of the stacked slow-cooled material W and the pit inner surface , That is, around the pile of the gradually cooled materials W, and comes out of the waste gas holes 9 of the lid 3 (see arrows in FIGS. 1 and 2).

なく、所定の徐冷が可能である。As described above, according to the slow cooling pit according to the present invention, the temperature of the slow cooling material W at the lowermost layer and the outermost side and the rapid temperature drop at both ends of the slow cooling material W are prevented. Since the distribution can be made uniform and the combustion gas rarely escapes to the waste gas hole as it is in the conventional slow cooling pit,
Even when the material to be gradually cooled is small, predetermined slow cooling can be performed without separately loading a hot steel material or the like.
