Prior art JP-B 16-9382 and JP-B 28-12469 disclose a cylindrical socket body in which arc-shaped conductive strips are closely arranged in a circle to define a plug insertion hole. A plurality of annular grooves are formed on the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical socket body along the circumferential surface thereof, and a spring band is wound around the annular grooves to condense the conductive strips of the cylindrical socket body so that they can expand and contract. Both the outer surface and the inner surface of the conductive strip are arc-shaped, and the assembly is formed into a plug insertion hole having a regular circular shape in a plan view, and a cylindrical plug is pushed into the plug insertion hole so that circles come into contact with circles.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the above conventional example, when a circular plug insertion hole is formed by converging an arc-shaped conductive strip into a cylindrical shape, a cylindrical plug insertion part and each arc-shaped conductive strip are formed. Since they are in surface contact with each other on their circumferential surfaces, the contact pressure cannot be sufficiently secured, and on the contrary, they have the drawback of lowering reliability.

Further, in order to obtain proper surface contact by the conventional example, the circumferential surface of the plug insertion hole must be formed in a perfect circle that perfectly matches the circumferential surface of the plug insertion portion, but in reality, many arcs are formed. It is technically very difficult to form shaped conductive strips into a regular cylinder, and in order to form a regular cylinder by gathering such arc-shaped conductive strips, extremely advanced processing technology is required, Frequently, there is a problem in that individual circular curvatures are not formed and a regular circular plug insertion hole is not formed, and proper circumferential surface contact with the plug cannot be obtained, making it difficult to stably supply a large amount of power.

Further, in the conventional example, since each square bar material is cut or forged into a circular arc shape to form a cylindrical body by converging it in a circular shape, there is a problem that it takes a lot of time and effort and is very expensive. In addition, there is a problem that the curvature of each arc-shaped conductive strip tends to vary, and it is difficult to make close contact with the cylindrical socket insertion portion on the entire circumferential surface, resulting in uneven contact.

Means for Solving the Problems The present invention provides a connector capable of effectively enjoying the advantages of the above-mentioned conventional examples while effectively solving the problems of the above-mentioned conventional examples. An arc formed by equally dividing a regular cylindrical body in the axial direction in the case of constructing a connector in which the above arc-shaped conductive strips are arranged in a cylindrical shape and are bound by a spring band to press-fit a fixed plug and a movable plug. A cylindrical socket body is formed by arranging a group of shaped conductive strips in a circular shape, and the inner peripheral surface of each arc-shaped conductive strip is finished to be a flat inner surface to form a plug insertion hole into a polyhedral shape. At the same time, the fixed plug and the movable plug have a structure in which the plug insertion portion is formed into a cylindrical shape, and each busbar thereof comes into pressure contact with each flat inner surface of the arc-shaped conductive strip group on a line parallel to the axis. It was done.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical socket body formed by binding the arc-shaped conductive strips to each other is a circumferential surface so that the compression force by the spring band is evenly applied to each arc-shaped conductive strip. While providing the effect, the inner peripheral surface of the plug insertion hole is made polyhedral to ensure line contact between the inner flat surface of each arc-shaped conductive strip and the cylindrical plug insertion portion, and it is sound and highly reliable without contact failure. It is possible to obtain contact, thus enabling stable and large power supply, and problems such as pole burning on the contact surface of the plug and socket, resulting in operation stop (operation stop due to the operation of the safety device), and inability to remove the plug. Can effectively solve the problem.

Also, by simply dividing the regular cylinder into equal parts in the axial direction, it is extremely easy to obtain a uniform arc-shaped conductive strip material group with a required curvature. A large cost reduction of this kind of high power supply connector can be achieved without the need for manufacturing, as in the case of finishing in an arc shape.
