成り、これら両カバー単体2・3の側壁に、カバー単体
2・3の合わせ面20・30に開口するキーシリンダ4
の挿通孔5a・5bを形成したステアリングコラムカバ
ーにおいて、前記各カバー単体2・3に、これら両カバ
ー単体2・3の結合時、前記キーシリンダ4の外周面へ
の当接により、前記挿通孔5a・5bに対する前記キー
シリンダ4の挿通位置を規制して、前記挿通孔5a・5
bの内周面とキーシリンダ4の外周面との間に、該キー
シリンダ4の全周にわたって等間隔の隙間を設定する位
置決めリブ6a・6bを前記挿通孔5a・5bの近傍に
設けると共に、前記カバー単体の一方3で且つ前記挿通
孔5bの近傍に、他方のカバー単体2に係合して、両カ
バー単体2・3における前記位置決めリブ6a・6b
前記キーシリンダーの外周面に密着させる係止爪8を
設けたことを特徴とするステアリングコラムカバー。
