(57)【特許請求の範囲】(57) [Claims] 【請求項1】 一方の建物の立上り躯体上に支持部材を
立設するとともに、この立上り躯体に近接する他方の建
物の壁躯体に保持部材を固定し、上記支持部材及び保持
部材上に上記躯体間間隙を覆うカバー材を架設させると
ともに、上記保持部材には、壁躯体面に固定される固定
縁の上下両端部からほぼ直角に突出する突部を形成し且
つ各突部から外方に折曲げられる上下一対の係止部を形
成する一方、上記カバー材には壁躯体面に沿う起立縁を
上下方向に形成するとともに、該起立縁には上記一対の
係止部に対して上記壁躯体面に向かって略垂直に押し付
けて係止される上下一対の係止部を形成し、且つ起立縁
の上部係止部の上部近傍には壁躯体面に当接するウエザ
ーストリップを嵌着し、上記カバー材の立上り躯体側は
上記立上り躯体の支持部材上に移動可能に支持させたこ
とを特徴とするエキスパンション・ジョイント装置。
