た後の容器内底部に冷めた飲料液が流入するので、容器
底部内外の温度勾配が大きくなって、容器内部の飲料液
全体が所定温度に加熱するまでの加熱時間が短縮され
る。また下方から散水または噴射した温水は、容器の上
面にも降りかかるため、加熱効果がこの点からも助長さ
れる。(2)また容器が搬送方向出口側に達したときに
は、散水装置から容器の上部へ冷水が散布または噴射さ
れるので、この場合にも、熱対流により冷却効果が助長
される。(3)また上記のように飲料液の加熱・冷却処
理時間が短縮されるので、装置全体の設置長を短くして
も、装置の加熱・冷却性能が低下しなくて、装置全体が
コンパクト化される。
